Bug? I upgraded to 2.4.9 and new Published Images no longer show up in categories or in search. I've tried a few different images, no luck. Everything was fine today with uploads until I did the upgrade. Just an FYI.

Let me check. This was a pretty big update. Your problem might be changing a simple one-liner. Let me look into it. THanks

Your probably not seeing them because they are being pushed right to the back. To fix this problem (the same as everyone else)
Go to the "bee" admin screen and push the Update public image info [] checkbox.
This would take care of itself within 24 hours if you didn't notice the problem :D
This is happening because this update requires a new field in your image-post meta which assesses its "rank". if its not there on all images, I think your new ones are pushed back :D

OK, that did it. Thanks. We'll all have to remember to hit that update if we want our images to show up inside of 24 hours.

I get this error on updating
An error occurred while updating SYMBIOSTOCK: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.

In this case you may just be better off re-uploading it after getting it from symbiostock.com. I've updated 2.4.9 quite a few times since this it involves a new system, so it will most likely only work for people upgrading from 2.4.8.

After installing 2.4.9 my images are not showing in category or in search. Only showing in the lastest images widget. I have done "update public image info" severals time after two upload of new images. Nothin happen :'(, what now?

Same problem today. Uploaded a new image, processed and published, and did an update on the public image info. But the image is nowhere to be found on my site.
Is it possible to roll back to 2.4.8? If I can, I'd like to go back 1 version and wait until things get ironed out before upgrading.

Do you have super-cache enabled? I had to disable this to get my latest images to show up in the latest images slider

Where is super cache? Isn't that a plug-in? I don't see it.

Interesting. I changed the Rank from 2 to 1, and I got it to show up finally. I changed it from 1 back to 2 after, and it is still there. So apparently for now, I need to change the rank on each image I upload to get it recognized.
Another thing I've noticed about Rank is that my #1's show up first in Search, but they show up last in Category Browsing. Is the Category Sort ranking images in backward order?
Is it possible for my site to roll back to 2.4.8?

It is not working for me as well. Unable to see the uploaded images under categories. Only see under latest images

Ill fix it today. Its possible it does not order by rank in category search ... ill check it out. No need. To roll back.

I have found a way to fix it - that may or may not help you find the cause.
I use the CTA template on my front page (where my large slider widget is), if I change to simple template, save, then go back to the CTA it updates the slider

Only one thing: the green exclusive banner in the download area is gone!

Generally you might have to kick start it. It works when I do these things:
1. Save your network screen, thus giving default values for all of your initial filter levels.
2. Go to box at bottom of that screen, and check the "update public image info[]" box, ... save.
3. Go to Author Options and set your default rating level to whatever. Then at bottom of screen push "update all image info". Sorry if you will be overwriting some prices :D This is a big update and it will only happen once.
That should do it for you.
If there is a category bug I will hopefully get to it tomorrow.

What do you mean by saving the network screen. Is it Symbiostock -> Network? How do I save this?

Done but stil doesn't work.

I followed that, but still I can't find my new images in categories and they are not searchable ... while I see them in similar images ... strange :-\

I tried uploading new ones. They are visible on under categories but tthe ones that I uploaded last night are not visible :'(

I'll go in and fix it by slapping my monitor.
So EVERYONE with this problem gets free tech support for this issue. The nice thing is it will only happen once. Newcomers will not have this issue. If anyone else has the issue point them to this post.
