Title: Dragonfly Child Theme
Post by: pseudopixels on October 23, 2013, 15:25
Hi All,

I'm trying to setup my new site using the new Dragonfly child theme, the thing is I can't get rid of the links showing near the search area. I tried ticking off and on some of the option on the customize section but can't find where to remove the links.

Thanks

Under Appearance-Menus- Edit Menus

Create a blank / empty menu and assign it to the Account/Cart Menu on the Manage Locations Page.

Most discussions are going on over at our own Forum @  http://www.symbiostock.org (http://www.symbiostock.org)

Just an FYI for those who do their own CSS

If you go to admin -> bee -> settings you can turn off the Symbiostock Customizer, giving you more room for your own CSS. The customizer takes control of quite a bit, and you may find it gets in the way if you write your own styles.

How do I get to the look that is on the sample in the dragonfly announcement post?

Go to your Dashboard / Appearance / Editor

Here you change it to the theme you want - I think Slate is the example:

/* Per above comments, replace "United" with your above sub-theme choice */
@import url("bootstrap-themes/Slate/bootstrap.min.css");

You'll find a number of useful posts about customizing your site's look on the Symbiostock forums (http://www.symbiostock.org/), including the CSS changes (http://www.symbiostock.org/post/4860/#p4860) i made to my site which is based on Slate but doesn't look anything like it :)
