After I added the Extended Licence to all my photos with Batch Editor, I got this on the photo's page
Warning: Illegal string offset 'added_price' in /home1/luxurys8/public_html/food.ezeepics/wp-content/plugins/ss-professional/functions.php on line 783
How can I resolve this?
-
I had to remove the Extended Licence and install it again in order to avoid this error. Now I don't have it anymore.
-
This got fixed? I'm not aware of this problem.

At least for the moment is fixed. I go in Author Page and remove the Extended Licence from the Images, than I go in Licences and remove it from there. Than I made another Extended Licence and applied it to all images in batch. For the moment the Error message doesn't appear anymore.
-
The error appeared again after I updated Cart Manager :
Warning: Illegal string offset 'added_price' in /home1/luxurys8/public_html/food.ezeepics/wp-content/plugins/ss-professional/functions.php on line 783

Your getting a lot of strange issues. I'm back in action tomorrow. Keep me posted.
-
Thanks Leo, like I said in the pms, I will not make anything more to the site until the issue with the sizes is fixed. I don't know what to do, if I have to wait or re-upload all images.

I have again this error appearing under my images. It was fixed initially and after appeared again:

I'm not sure I get you...The standard licence I have it already....I have the page for it and all the prices for Blogee, Small, Medium and Large are with Standard.
-
The only licence you are offering on your cupcake page (and possibly others but that is the one that you gave as an example) is the Extended licence. There is no standard licence available - take a look and see - then look at one for instance - http://stockimages.kerioak.com/image/sunset-beach-with-seagull/?r=http://stockimages.kerioak.com (http://stockimages.kerioak.com/image/sunset-beach-with-seagull/?r=http://stockimages.kerioak.com) and you will see that I offer both standard and extended licences
Edit: I would change the settings in your SYXtra plug in to hide the licences for now as they do not match what Symbiostock is offering

Means that I am confused. I thaught if the normal prices I have for the images are understood with normal Standard licence. When someone purchases one photo in the Cart I have the link to License Agreement & Terms. That is the page of Standard licence. If I don't have it than the prices I have for blogee, small, medium and large under what licence I sell? The Extended just adds other money to the normal.
What I have confuse in my mind is why do I have to add the Standard Licence in the bottom? Is not selfunderstood that the images with normal price are with Standard icence?
-
I think it is because you do not have the standard licence at the bottom that
1. You are getting the error message
2. The extended licence is not an option (ie you cannot select it and thus add those prices to the standard prices to get an increased total)
Try:
Setting up a standard licence in the Symbiostock (bee) licences area - in the yes/no box select yes and put 00.00 in all the pricing boxes (these are additional prices to those you set in the author options area so they need to be zero for the standard licence)
Then add both extended and standard licence to ALL your images in the author options area and apply to all images (unless you have lots of different options then I will leave you to work it out :) )

I did how you told me. First I removed the Extended under all images. Made a Standard how you told me, applied it to all images and, immediately after applied I got again the error:

I will try to remove all and redo
-
Licence information immediately under image - SYXtra plug-in
Other licences and information - Symbiostock
~~
The error is no longer showing - but you no longer have extended licences either

Because I was removing. Check now. I have now both licences but the error for me shows
-
First you didn't see the error because no licence was applied. After applying any Licence the error appears again.
-
I just registered (so don't send me an email because I left an empty cart :) )
The error is there
as soon as you select a size of licence the error disappears
when I log out and nothing is selected it reappears

What do I have to do in this case?

Does anyone else have any ideas on this - I had a quick look at the licences etc in the back end but nothing jumped out of me that ezeepics had done wrong in creating them

I havent even tackled licenses on my own site so have no clue yet. Sorry, I got nothin.

I tried creating an extended license to go with the Standard one and attempted to set that up and apply it to just one image (to see if it worked). It didn't - no error messages, but I didn't get any changes in the prices if I selected the Extended license.
First problem is that it doesn't appear you can edit a license you create (if you got the wrong URL, for example) so I had to delete and reenter all the valid information which was a pain.
Second problem is that I didn't understand what to select (Yes or No) for Purchasable Upgrade. It says "If "Yes" the onpage location is overridden and options appear under product table." but what does that mean? The onpage location of what is overridden?
As I entered prices in the boxes (for the extra amount for each size that an extended license would cost), I figured that meant those numbers would be added to the standard license price, but nothing got added to anything when I selected Extended License on the test image I applied this to.
Third problem is that I have CleanTheme and changing the image to have both Standard and Extended License as an option reformatted parts of the page - blue highlighting on the selected size instead of light gray, for example, fonts changed (or spacing). In addition to the radio buttons for the two licenses where there's a link to the license, under the download button there are two more links for Standard License and Extended license (incorrectly formatted in that it doesn't look like Clean Theme any more and has blue text on a pale blue background).
Fourth problem is that if I go back to just a standard license on that image, I don't go back to the way things were. I even reprocessed that image to try and get it to look right, but I still have the misformatted text - see the sample I tried to put an extended license on and then removed
http://www.digitalbristles.com/image/sunset-sail-in-puget-sound/ (http://www.digitalbristles.com/image/sunset-sail-in-puget-sound/)
versus the way a page should look (for a page I never tried to add licenses to)
http://www.digitalbristles.com/image/mount-rainier-and-puget-sound/ (http://www.digitalbristles.com/image/mount-rainier-and-puget-sound/)
Fifth problem would be how I'd update the whole site with extended licenses - as it is right now I'd have to select categories one at a time in the batch editor to apply them, hope I didn't forget a category and hope I didn't ever want to change anything. This really needs an option to apply to all images as well as selected images
Has anybody got this working on their site?

Its hard to make a one-size-fits-all license system that is easy. Gonna post on Symbiostock.org and see who's getting errors.
-
I think something simplier must be on the image page. Leo, please try to make something simple like Fotolia has. Not things to select, clients will never understand how to use it and will renounce to buy. One reason Photoshelter is not selling is the too complicate purchasing process. Purchase must be very simple, click and go. The licences added in this way under the product table are not a great idea. Licences available must be in the price table like other prices.
