Title: How do you set catagories for uploaded images
Post by: grsphoto on March 29, 2013, 21:14
I have my test images loaded on my site.

How do I set the Catagories for the images?

( new to wordpress so assume I know nothing)

As well do we need to start a FAQ?

If you hover over the RF Images button in the sidepanel in the dashboard, you should see "image catagories". Click that and you get a whole list, or you can add/delete/edit your own. Once you have a catagory that you want in the list, go to where you edit your image/keywords, etc and on the side there's a place to attach the image to a category.

If they are not showing when you are in the editing area look at the top right hand corner of your screen - immediately under where it says "Howdy *******"   there is a tab saying "screen options" click this and you will get a drop down box that covers the top of the screen - click on "categories" and anything else you want to show  up while you are working.

Ok I found out how to do it... I was missing the rollover in the left side where "edit" appears..then have to take the image into edit mode.
