Hi all, last question before I turn in
When I post a link to my site on Facebook, it reads the old meta tags, its still the old WP title and Hello World description. Also no thumb showing up.
How long does it take for Google to pick up the correct meta data of the website? Or do I need to change some meta tags somewhere?
Thanks,
-
if you use webmaster tools, you can use 'fetch' under health to submit any url to google -- it may speed up the re-crawl; otherwise google will revisit on some mysteriously scheduled pattern. once your site gets indexed, tho, it should be pretty frequent

Two different questions here....
Facebook does not read through google, so there are tags and things you need to change.
Google does take a few weeks, but if you use webtools ( as suggested) it is quicker.

Thanks, but all tags were changed, I think. I need to check my old posts, I imported from my previous blog. Maybe some residue tags somewhere lingering. Thanks

Seem to have a knack for that

I remember him saying he was going to close this account and come back as a real person.... if you want help with the Symbiostock sites we need to know who you are/ what your site is.
