Mike, can you see complete metadata in your watermarked file?  (including the camera data).
I can see the description, keywords, and copyright, but in the camera section I see only the lens description (no other data).

None of my images have camera data (vectors), so I can't answer this one. Anyone else have an answer?

I don't want to hijack this thread but... what is ImageMagick and why do we need it??

Just Googled it. Way too complicated for my ol' brain to understand.

I use LR and (as needed) Photoshop and am happy with that combination. Are you saying I now need to add ImageMagick just so my metadata will accompany my images to their destination? I really don't want to have to install and learn another program just to do something basic like that.

ImageMagick is the application used by Symbiostock to take your original image and create thumbnail images, watermarked images, and  the various image sizes for the customer.  You don't need to install anything on your local computer.  Your web host should have this installed by default.

Advice, please!

ImageMagick is the software that processes you images on your website.... you need to set it and forget it on your site, not on your computer.... now back to the original thread..... :)

My host (ipower) provides both GD Library and ImageMagick, and the default was set for GD Library.

I was able to find it in my Dashboard by selecting the Gallery in the Top Menu, then selecting Options. I turned on the ImageMagick option, and the image description, keywords, and copyright notice are now retained, but for all new images all camera data is removed (very strangely except the lens description).
