Post by: Lightrecorder on November 10, 2014, 06:24
Hi,

How is paypal integrated on sys?

Paypal doc on fixing the issue :

Does anybody have any idea about this?

At some point if we use SSL3 we cant receive any payments any longer  >:(

Is the SSL determined by the theme (ie: Symbiostock) or is it a function of the host?  I seem to recall something about SSL on the C-panel.  Perhaps you could contact your host with the question to see if their customer service can clarify. I'll have to research later when I am home from my day job.

Thank you for digging this up.

I did a test buy on my site today. Everything works fine. I will do another test after Dec 3 and go from there.

I just did another test. The whole PayPal transaction worked just fine. So the Symbio theme seems not to be effected by this. If there was a code change required then it must have been dealed with either on wordpress or hosting level. (My site runs with wordpress 4.01 on a BlueHost shared server)
