Hi,
Is anyone experiencing a problem in processing images today? I have just uploaded a batch of 10 images but when I "process image to drafts", they appear in the "Drafts" but with no image preview, only the title, descriptions and keywords. I have been successfully publishing my images till now. Anyone have an idea on what's going on here? Thanks in advance.

Just checking in - sounds like a memory problem with images that are too large. Did you up your memory already?

same here. processed about 100 photos to draft. A few 60MP panos among them. Everything worked like a charm (v2.5.5 on Blue Host). I didn't push it, though, and processed in batches of 20 to 25 at a time.

But hosting and php.ini (memory setting, imagemagic image processor ...) still make all the difference. There must detailed info on that on http://www.symbioguides.com/.

Where do I access that? ( sorry I'm still a noob at this things). I've been uploading images since May 2013 about 1,500 images, but this issue only occurred today. I'm hosted at Hostgator.  And thanks guys for chiming in.

I'm having the same problem. I just keep getting the error message -

No matching image files found. You may have named them incorrectly. Fix problem and re-upload. This file has been removed. Example: "my_stock_art.eps" or "my_stock_art.zip" must have accompanying ""my_stock_art.jpg" to be considered a valid set/file.

No, the images aren't too large. It's the same 4368x2912 that my camera creates for all other photos. Something changed today. Uploads no longer work. I'm on 2.5.5. The last time I could upload without having to update public info, or change ratings, was 2.4.8.

I'm to the point where my Symbiostock site is going on the back burner until these problems are worked out. It's not worth the effort in the interim. I feel like I'm just beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why my site can't take my photos any more.

Just tried the Symbiostock Image Uploader, worked fine. Processed images worked fine.

2.5.5

Only problem is that it cant deal with my 25MP panorama. So I need to fix that somehow.

Please do not assume the sy theme is responsible for this. It was spontaneous and random for many people and even myself. It appears wordpress or something else has recently made the theme directory publically inaccessible. Since quite a few people are affected now I might be able ti get away with fixing that before Friday. Use ftp in meantime.

My experience may be unrelated but I had problems processing old images of mine that were saved in Photoshop as "Progressive" jpg.

I had to re-save them as "Baseline" for ImageMagick to work properly.

Also worth mentioning is that I used to have a problem with files that were saved in the "Adobe RGB" color space so the image processor only could work correctly if the images were saved in sRGB.

Panorama processed to draft via FTP no problems

I got similar problem, I changed memory settings, ftp upload works, shows file for processing, but no preview and after processing no image in draft. File is standard sRGB 11MB jpg. Not sure where the problem could be.
After I hit process image, only header appears  : Process Images. and the page is blank.

Update : Oh I take it back, now it works for sRGB, seems not working for AdobeRGB

I also found out that the jpeg image must be saved as "baseline (standard)" otherwise if it is saved as "progressive", they won't be processed. I just re-saved a batch of images to make it work.

I'm trying to set up new Symbiostock site and having the same problems as stated before.
Uploading works just fine via ftp.
But when I press Process images errors begin to happen.
The most common for me is "Process" completes but the preview andt the file itself are either missing completely or have black area at the bottom (like processing kind of stopped in the middle of the image).

I'm on Dreamhost using ImageMagick and already increased php memory to 128M. Latest Symbiostock theme 2.5.6 here.
Downsizing files to around 4000px seems to help, but I'd like to have my images larger.

The file itself is in sRGB and Baseline, just 3.5Mb in size :( Any advice for newbie?

I just spotted this thread. Don't know how I missed it before, because I've been having the same problems others mentioned. I actually called Bluehost tech support this AM to see if they could help, but no luck. The guy created a ticket and said somebody there would get back to me. :-)

All last week, I had no problem with this, but since Saturday or Sunday, only a few of each batch of 10-12 jpgs I upload make it all the way through to a draft that I can then get onto my pages. In a few cases, none of the images in a batch has made it that far. I've got some big content gaps in new pages as a result.

Will check to see if any of those images were saved as "progressive" or the wrong color space. It helps to know I'm not the only one having this problem! And if I get any feedback from Bluehost about the cause, I'll let ya'll know.

The file itself is in sRGB and Baseline...

I believe that someone else had a problem with sRGB.  Try saving it as RGB and processing it.

OK, forget that.  I thought that you were saying it was aRGB...

I'm running some tests to determine source of errors but I'm not a php programmer. Maybe Leo could find some of my feedback useful for debugging image processor code.

I have found that if I get such "image cut in half" - it doesn't go to symbiostock_rf folder, so reprocess function can't do anything to it because original file is gone.
Maybe it is possible to enable back some kind of error reporting in processor functions. Just a little log file to spot the bug?
I can provide my "100%-bug-generator" image file if that would help  :'(

I solved my problem today!!! With the help of a competent Bluehost technician (and my 2nd call there for help), the upload problem is solved.

Turns out, I didn't realize there was a 10MB upload limit. So everything smaller than that was uploading just fine, but larger images were disappearing into the ether. The Bluehost tech raised my upload limit today and now all's well.

I am very impressed with Bluehost, BTW. I've got other websites hosted by Dreamhost and HostGator, and Bluehost is by far the best.

My problem is solved now. Couldn't do it with DreamHost, so went with BlueHost instead and I'm very impressed with its speed and ease of use. Thanks for suggestions everyone!  :)

I increased php memory on Dreamhost and had them restart fast CGI and apache instance. All good after that. They were very helpful.

Can you please give me the link where the original watermark image stays? I've changed it and i think it's all messed up because of that.
