Title: Search bar change needed on Clean Theme
Post by: cathyslife on May 04, 2013, 11:04
I am attaching screenshots so you can see.

1. The height of the select-type middle dropdown of the search bar is different by a pix or two than the search box and search button. Can you tell me how to correct that? I looked with firebug...not sure what to change.

2. And while I'm there, I need to add a css rule for an outline of 0, to correct a Firefox issue whereby it puts a dotted box around visited links. Is the CSS going to be in the same place as for that in 1. above?

Thanks.

Controls are harder to style consistently

The funny thing is, I installed the theme 2 days ago and didnt notice the height difference. This morning it was messed up in Firefox. I ran out to do some errands and just got back, looked in Firefox, and the height difference has corrected itself. Glad I posted a screenshot so you guys don't think I'm totally wacky. I've been having a lot of rendering issues with new updates to Firefox at work too, so I will blame that.  :D

If I can't fix the dotted line issue on that dropdown, I wouldn't be too worried about it. It's not that critical.

Hi Cathy, thanks for the screenshot,  I'm going to see if I can track this down tomorrow.  I will have an update on the menu area I'm working on to improve the responsiveness too so I'll tackle this and see if we can straighten it out at the same time!

Hi Amanda...the height of the dropdown menu self-corrected itself but I look forward to your update. Thanks!
