I can upload now 50+ Megapixel images. This may be old news but I'm very happy!

Pixart - I have started a FAQ, Tips and Tricks post in general.   I have added details on how to change name on photos there, can you see if it makes sense to the way you would do it when you get a minute ?

I got round this by creating a new admin with user name Steve Heap and I log in with that when I am doing any work. I think Bluehost automatically create the first admin account with your email, which seems like a bad plan.

This isn't exactly a bug, but I wonder if everyone knows it shows like this.  Inserting screencapture from both Laurent's and my site:

This happens when you hit the magnifying glass to preview a photo.  If you notice under the title it says "by Pixart", but under Laurent's it has his e-mail address.  I'm pretty sure these are the names of our admin account.  In my case it looks okay, but I'm not sure that Laurent will want his e-mail address under what really is "author".

Sorry - this hasn't been mentioned has it, I'm trying to keep on top of the posting.

you can easily edit how you would like to appear on your profile.. there is an option to choose a "display name".. you can create and choose whatever display name you want..

Yes, I saw that as well. I wonder if it is a bluehost thing, or a theme issue? I would have thought this was basic wordpress stuff.

Thanks for pointing this out Lorraine, like Steve said it might be a bluehost thing because I don t see where to change it in WP. I ll check the bluehost control panel in case:)

I think it's Bluehost. I just opened an account there and have the same issue. I did not have it previously at my other host.

I found an old article saying wordpress auto emails originate from [email protected]. For some cpanels its says you might need to change the email to a domain specific email. Not sure I understand it all but here's the article:

I started this earlier and forgot to send it:

I would guess that there is a snippet of code missing which would show the link for resetting the password.  I have had a quick search to see if I can find anything but mostly it is retrieving passwords, not putting the code in to retrieve them.

testing how zips might work

tried uploading both elephant8.jpg and elephant8.zip at same time.

No matching image files found. You may have named them incorrectly. Fix problem and re-upload. This file has been removed. Example: "my_stock_art.eps" or "my_stock_art.zip" must have accompanying ""my_stock_art.jpg" to be considered a valid set/file.

tried uploading jpg first, then the zip, and it worked

if zip file doesnt have matching jpg can't it just be left in draft rather than re-upl 40Mb??

also, at first my file was too big,  but  I didn't discover that til I dug into the upload error log

ok, I finally got the zip file loaded, and priced, but when I do a search I get a page full of errors after the images show up:

I am with jh and had same size issue, their chat support are very helpful and changed the php.ini file so I could edit it.
Navigate to the file in the file section, near top of page is c ode editor, very tiny writing, select that and find areas to edit.  Will be back at computer in morning if you need help let me know

I'm dropping in for a quick help on a few things then I'm out for the day -

Your network buddy has to update his permalink structure to "post". The network is very sensative to having everyone's permalinks be the same. It will change to be more flexible eventually, but for now thats how it is.

Confirmed. Maybe I missed something when I wrote that in, its not excluding vector for me either. I'll fix it right away.

Search is very much new right now. Literally what I could achieve just "making it work" and moving on to complete the package. With a few days of attention, search will be everything you might want / expect. Give it a few weeks.

Strange and  interesting problem. Most likely its the theme. I'll fix that one right away too.

It might be wordpress inserting an email because author name has been left out.
