Ok, I figured out the "no results" for search for specific terms. When the category issue came up originally, it somehow changed the keyword slug behind the scenes and it doesn't seem to update with a new theme install.

You have to go to the general keywords section (RF Images -> Image Keywords) in the backend and correct the slug for any keyword that you may have previously used as a category title.

One down, one to go. :)
Anyone else having an issue with categories displaying incorrect images?

Part of my personality - I can't "walk away" from a perceived problem very easy. But with a few developers here I might just even more a vaca :D

Maybe it would be easier if we get a few designers to volunteer to do your other client work so you can stay here!  ;)

Great! Image processing broken again.. I was processing just fine 2 days ago.. I am getting the same error I got before..

changing this value to "On" had sorted it out the other day.. allow_url_fopen = on

but now, all of a sudden it doesn't work.. just to make sure, I deleted a file that processed fine the other day, and re-uploaded and re-processed the same image without success this time..

I can't upload images anymore. All process seems to be ok, but when i click "process images", nothing appears, like below.

uploaded fine.. but I can tell you, processing is definitely broken with this version.. something changed.. no idea what.. It can't be server or hosting issues because I was uploading and processing perfectly fine a couple of days ago..

I know it's not an error on my side but I still went ahead and increased memory limits to max levels but it didn't help..

will have to wait for a working version I guess..

I just tried uploading a 9M image in the previous version, and everything was fine. So I deleted it and loaded and activated the latest version published a couple of hours ago. Tried again with the same image - everything worked fine for me - it is online without issues.

I don't know.. I thought this issue was behind me, but here is the problem that disappeared the other day, and came back with this version.. this is what I get when trying to process images:

Warning: file_get_contents(/var/chroot/home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock-child/img/symbiostock-watermark.png) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php on line 194

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'WideImage_InvalidImageSourceException' with message 'File '/var/chroot/home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock-child/img/symbiostock-watermark.png' appears to be an invalid image source.' in /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php:225 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: WideImage::loadFromFile('/var/chroot/hom...') #1 /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php(183): call_user_func(Array, '/var/chroot/hom...') #2 /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php(105): WideImage::load('/var/chroot/hom...') #3 /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php(1006): symbiostock_image_processor->symbiostock_process_image('Abacus_Icon', 61) #4 in /home/(full path removed)/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php on line 225

allow_url_fopen is On
memory limit is 128mb
max upload size is as high as I would like to set it.. in fact I have access to php.ini file.. I can set it as high as I wish..

the other day it even worked when memory limit was 96 and all other settings were lower.. I increased them after I ran into this problem.. how could this be caused by me when all I did was:

- deactivate symbiostock, activate a default wp theme..
- delete symbiostock, re-upload the new version..
- activate the new version..

and welcome the processing issues :)

I'm thinking I'm the only one with this issue. I'm tempted to do a complete re-install of everything including wordpress and start from scratch. I suspect I've "fixed" too many things.  :)

Could you try going back to the previous working build and see if that is still OK? That would at least pin down the cause of the issues. I'm sure you meant it this way, but don't you activate a default wp theme, which deactivates symbiostock so you can delete it?

oh yes.. that's what I meant :) bad wording..

let me try that If I can find an older version in my recycle bin..

luckily I found an older version in the bin from 2 days ago and re-installed it..

the processing issue continues, so if it's not a version issue, then what is it? perfectly working 2 days ago, and not working today.. I am cluless now.. as far as I know, nothing changed..

maybe I am missing something.. could anyone post the proper server and hosting configuration values?

If I wasn't running a cmsaccount site with all the features you can imagine on this very same host, I would be thinking it's my hosting, but that's not the issue..

Well, i delete SS theme and upload last version. I was at least two versions back.

But i'm still facing upload issues. Upload runs ok, but when click "process images" , i can't see thumbs (see image) and later when i choose "process to publish" again nothing appears on screen.

Just two days ago was ok. I don't know what happened.

What happens when you click the all images button under the RF Images tab? I've had processing images crap out on me once or twice, but the images go in seeemingly ok there.

what are your hosting configuration values? because mine are supposed to let me upload 50-80MP images.. but for some reason it's not happening..

and as I said, 2 days ago my install was seamless.. I uploaded, processed, created accounts, sent password recovery emails, made purchases, redirected to the site, downloaded images, and everything.. it was all working..

suddenly processing is broken.. I can't explain.. everything else still works..

Looking at this it seems to be a problem could be with the watermark... it is looking for the symbiostock watermark and it isn't there, or it is invalid.

Check the directory to see if it is there....

Well - I'm on Godaddy and I think I've made the suggested fixes and I can't get my own watermark to work.  And since v1.17 my photos come up in searches but don't appear on the pages/categories.    I think I will have to wait until version 3.3 because I am such a spaz at all this. ;)

I think something in the theme changes something in the actual Wordpress install. I finally broke down and re-installed everything from scratch (including a fresh WP install) and everything now works. Search, categories, paypal without IPN. I'm very pleased. :)
