Title: Resolved: Way to market image on symbiostock but exclusive through other agency?
Post by: txking on September 01, 2013, 02:00: Might be a weird question but I have some images that are shutterstock exclusive. Is there a way to make it so while you can view the image on symbiostock it lets you konw that it is a shutterstock exclusive image and in turn will route you to shutterstock if you want to get that image?

I know this might be slightly counter productive to the goal of symbiostock but I have some images that just are not able to be had through other means yet.

I didn't know it was possible to be "exclusive" on Shutterstock. Many have indicated they'd like to be but couldn't?

Are you sure you have that kind of arrangement there???

True there's no exclusivity at SS but the OP only has some images available at SS and no where else which deems them exclusive though there's not anything on the site that uses exclusive at all.

Post by: txking on September 01, 2013, 02:23: I'm not exclusive through shutterstock but I have used the "On The Red Carpet" program through Shutterstock. When you do that any images you manage to capture are required to be with shutterstock for a period of time in return for them getting you into the event.

Exclusive is just a word to indicate something is unique to a certain place. Doesnt necessarily mean there is an exclusive program
