Hi

On this site map:  /image-sitemap1.xml

I'm getting an error from google webmaster tools
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

Its been working fine from middle of July, just stopped working today. Tried testing it and still comes back with same error. Also tried to resubmit it and came back with same error.
I've tried other sitemaps and getting the same response. Can someone check there sitemaps in google webmaster tools and see if they have this error please.

Anyone got any ideas?
Mark

So far I have not had any errors with the site map.

Have you gone into Yoast and displayed the site map.?  If it displays try drilling down into some of the links to see if everything looks ok.

Are you on the latest version of yoast?

Also, mine defaults to image-sitemap.xml.  Don't know if that makes a difference.

Hi

I think I solved it. I was messing around with Alexa earlier and the site. I think i installed something from alexa which interferred with site map.

Now I have taken the Alexa off, it seems to be ok. Thanks
Mark
