I just checked my Veer account and I saw that I had 9 sales today! My last sale before this boom was 15 days ago... Anyone else?

I had 22. All large size.
Unbelievable, more than I had in total since they started.

 :o
 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

ETA:

Small correction, "only" 15 sales, not 22. Seems I was so excited that I couldn't type correctly any more...
Still more than impressive...

Nothing for me. Not a single sale in February.  :(

5 sales today, all for $3.50 and sold outside the US.  Perhaps the marketing has started?

This is surprising.  Seven sales for $3.5 each, all except one today.  I can only guess that they wait for a certain period before displaying the sales.

Lucky you, I have no downloads this year.

11 sales for me today, really surprising, all outside US. Is this a partner of Veer that we don't know about? Not complaining here anyway :)

10 sales for me, 6 large and 4 med., non US sales. A couple of them are duplicates. They don't seem to be related. Photos sold of a june beetle, storm clouds, cat, toad, CDs, nest egg, zebra and butterfly. Strange. Glad I stuck with these guys.  ;D

Four for me, all Large, all non-US, $3.50 each.  With the ELs I got earlier this month, Veer is outperforming even SS at the moment.  Sure would be nice if it keeps up.

4 x $3.50 - all non-US sales.

This seems really fishy to me...

10 sales today, mostly 3.50.  Could it be that these are "old" sales that are only showing up now?  If not, it sounds too good to be true.  Although I hope not, of course. :)

This is really weird.  I haven't uploaded there forever.  I kinda gave up, they kept rejecting EVERYTHING.  My portfolio is small < 35 images.

BUT...

I had 4 sales today:

2@ $3.50
2 @ $1.75

All from outside of the US.  Something definitely is going on here.

No sales for me last 15 days maybe more?!?

I got 5 for a total of $17.50. Hadn't had a sale since november.

Looks to me that these had been stuck in the system and just got bunched up together and reported today. Like someone else said maybe partner sales or something.

None for me, no views either. Not surprised as my images don't seem to show up in the search!

Hmm, do you need to somehow activate images after being accepted?

None for me :( nothing unusual, move along, these aren't the droids I'm looking for...
only 1 sale in feb too. Having vectors priced at 20$ without jpeg options doesn't help much I think. But the 7$ commission on one is worth it.

@Thomas, I think you need to submit the tax form.

just to add to the 'me too's' ... me too.

I got $7.50 worth of sales.  Veer seems to be doing well this year and is the 'best of the worst' for me... meaning that they are the best site of everything below the big 6 (except for bigstock)

No sales this year until yesterday, then seven at $3.50 each!
That we should all have sales on the same day seems odd. Have they had a big sales push?

I also had a sales spike yesterday... five sales for a total of $8.75.  Let's hope whatever they're doing, they continue it... for many of us to see a significant rise in sales in one day, my guess is they did some kind of huge email push to a list of designers.  Maybe a special offer on credits... buy one get one, 50% off, etc.

WOW! After almost no activity for weeks, 28 sales in one day. All of them $3.50 = $98 in one day. Don't know what is going on, but please don't let it stop. ;D

7 sales yesterday for me as well, after 1 month without sales

I'm afraid they just recorded past sales all the same day

however Veer's future plans here seem interesting and real (not just corporate talk!):

I'm not on Veer but... I'll check this thread for a few days and if the trend continues, there'll be a line at Veer's back door, of contributors wanting in.  However this sounds like either a rollup of previous sales that were found laying around - i.e. a bug in their system - or else a bunch of new buyers picking up "free introductory" images.

I have had the same thing -- 0 sales for months, now a deluge.  Sounds like foreign sales were lost in space and have now been found and applied to accounts all at once.

Doesn't seem like anyone is reporting big sales today, so the theory that a bug in Veer's system had been holding up reporting on our sales and spit them all out in one day (yesterday) seems to be looking more true by the minute.  Unless someone else is seeing a big spike today?  (  .... crickets.... chirp.... )

I got excited just now, but still just the one $1.75 sale since day one :'(  The surge has obviously passed my little 101 port by (possibly because a lot of it gets zero results when you search by the main keywords for my images). Oh well.... Regards, David.

My port there is about 5x the size of yours (still small, though), and I haven't had a sale all month. So don't feel too bad.   :)

Only 2 sales in March, nothing in the last 12 days.  I am struggling to stay motivated to upload there.  I can understand the small sites that don't have any money to spend on marketing struggling but I thought Corbis would of done much more by now.  Perhaps they will take the easy option and buy one of the big sites?  That looks like the best way for them to get a larger share of the microstock market.

March actually gave me a spark in sales. The amount of images being sold is low but when I average out the income from each sale it equals to more than $5.00!  :)  I still have a miniscule sized portfolio there of only 198 files!
I hope this site does well!

Definitely a spike in sales for March.  I've done $58 this month, mostly thanks to an extended license sale on March 8.

Total port size is 479, though I haven't uploaded there in about 6 months.  If the current sales continue, I may start up again, but I still have a bad taste in my month from the inconsistent bulk rejections... one group of pics passes with no problems, but a similar batch gets thrown out entirely for not being what they're looking for.
