Hi all,

got a few questions about veer marketplace.

is veer.com is a stock website that is different with veer marketplace?
I read in their faq that a contributor in veer marketplace will be considered and invited to be veer.com contributor if they are good enough.

I can't find any interface like 'my porfolio' in veer marketplace..my approved images are just under 'dashboard'.

still new to this website..

Veer is a well established traditional stock site.  Veer Marketplace is their new microstock subsidiary.

oic..so it is different.

I still can't find a interface that view my approved images as what a buyer may sell. I just want to check whether a eps vector will also sell as jpg?

I only found my images under 'approved' tab, but when i click it, just a small pop-up windows that enlarge the picture..nothing else.

it took me a while to navigate veer's site, everything is kind of disconnected. best to click on the 'your member page' tab and that will bring you to your portfolio as seen by the buyer.

i notice that eps file will be sold as eps only. Do you think we can upload jpg separated as another online image for sale? just like what shutterstock does..

I think the portfolio page in member page is required to have some kind of set up.. will check it.

You are able to upload JPEG versions of your vector files if you would like to sell them in that format as well.  Later this year, we'll be working out a way for this to happen automatically (so you'll only have to upload the EPS version), but for now, it's fine if you want to upload both.

Thanks, this is correct.  If you are looking for a link to give out, your Member Page would be the simplest way to see what you have available on the site.

In general, you'll want to bookmark the page http://contributor.veer.com/ for your main login to the site.  If you always return to that page, you'll be able to quickly access your Workspace, Dashboard, and Member Page, via the links across the top right

Other concerns. Legacy Artboards: Make sure the artboards box is not checked when saving

I do some search on internet but still don't really understand what is that legacy artboards.. I will drop an email to VMP.

and one more concern is the veermarketplace doesn't read my IPTC description column, and it was read in many website. Anyone has same issue? i am using Irfanview for IPTC.

Hi Mtkang,
I have no idea what the legacy artboards rejection means but I think I can help you with your keywords.
I had the same problem for months.
This is what I do now and it works, but only if you upload via normal,  browser interface.
Have two files at the ready - the EPS vector and a JPEG version. Add keywords (as normal) to your JPEG version.
Click 'Upload' button. Go to 'Browse' - pick your EPS file and SHIFT click on the JPEG version. It works. It uploads both versions at the same time and it reads your keywords.
I tried Ctrl (instead of SHIFT) with no success for months :)
Give it a try, good luck :)
