Last few days I simply can't upload my images at Veer using ftp. Anyone has similar problem?

I last uploaded 10 files via FTP 2 or 3 days ago but can't submit them. When I go to "workspace" the page usually doesn't load at all or it sometimes loads but then it doesn't see the files, or at times it'll load and will show "beginning file processing" but is just stuck and nothing happens.

Maybe we broke it alread  ;D

I'm trying to connect today to upload more images but the server gets stuck and the page doesn't load.

I tried last week and it wouldn't work either. I connected, then would disconnect as soon as I added files to upload.

The browser uploading is so easy (since you can select a bunch of files at once) that I haven't even tried using FTP yet.

Thats what I did, browser upload and it was simple. I can't seem to get Veer to load at all now? Anyone else having problems? It's ok now, my bookmark was broken.

I purchased some stuff about a half hour ago. It seemed a little slow maybe but did load.

finally got the files stuck in FTP through, seems to be working again.

Still concerned about the missing descriptions for images imported from SV though, these files also show dimensions 0 x 0.

I know EPS files all are showing dimensions 0 x 0. Are you talking about a photo, though?

Yeah, photos. New uploads are ok but images transferred from SV showing dimensions 0 x 0.

Hi All -

There were some hiccups with upload yesterday that was causing trouble for some.
These issues have now been fixed - systems are working normally.

If you continue to have trouble - you might check out some FTP tips that Anders posted yesterday on the Marketplace Group:
http://ideas.veer.com/group/marketplace/discussions/100

--------------------------------------

Thanks for your patience, everyone! The developers did encounter an issue earlier with the number of new files being uploaded. That has now been resolved.

You've mentioned a few other uploading issues, and they've asked me to pass on a few tips that could help:

1) Browser FTP: FTP does not work using the browser, as the browsers does not support FTP SSL.

2) FTP Client Problems: We'll be creating specific instructions for each client (Transmit, FTPZilla, CuteFTP, etc.). A common issue is a misunderstanding of "username". Your username is your full e-mail address.

--------------------------------------

Let us know if you continue to have trouble.

Thanks,

 - Brian

I wish I could connect with CushyStock, but the program doesn't support SSL ftp servers.  Can you guys consider getting rid of SSL and just make it a normal type of ftp server so that more ftp clients will work?  I just installed coreftp, and that works, but it's sort of an inconvenience to have to use a separate program just for Veer.

Still does not work for me. When I connect using FileZilla it passes login but is never able to get directory listing...

There should be an option for server type, make sure you select SSL.  If it doesnt work then just download Core ftp
