Title: I wanted to give them a try, but the site is buggier than IS
Post by: wut on February 01, 2012, 13:38
The first error was that I couldn't upload 10 of my best selling photos as they requested. I simply couldn't upload 3 of them, no matter how many times I tried (at least 3 times with each photo), they failed again and again during processing. So I had to add 3 almost best sellers. Description is not read, so I guess you have to input it manually (I can't wait to do that!). Uploading of MRs doesn't work, I managed to get just one online and it took forever for it to load. So there is absolutely no way in submitting the initial 10 for inspection. At least not via site interface.

never had those issues there, only the description one which I donīt care once it goes to pending anyway..

I would change the name of the files and try to upload again.. are you sure they are within their requirements?

Resolution: Minimum 1600 x 1200, preferred 3000 x 2000 or larger
File size: Minimum 700 kilobytes, preferred 1 megabyte or larger, maximum 20 megabytes (compressed file sizes)

Hi wut -

Sorry to hear you are having trouble - those upload issues you are having sound unusual.
Can you drop us a line at our help alias: [email protected]? That way we can get some additional information and work with you to sort this out.

Yes, all were at least 12 mpix, saved at 12 in PS. I'm not going to be bothered with changing anything, I've decided that with sites that are ranked below top 4, I won't do any alterations, nothing that takes a second of my time, I'll just UL them, if they take them, OK if not, it's OK as well. Lately I'm swamped with PPing and uploading new stuff anyway

Hi Brian, tnx for the reply. As I replied to Luis, I don't have the time, nor the will for all that, the best I can do is to email you the photos and you sort everything out.

I would say persevere with them. I didn't have any of these problems, and from what Brian is saying they are unusual.  I sell well there - they are better than Fotolia for me.  Their $35 EL's are a nice little earner.

Brian, this has not been unusual at all this January (I just started uploading again recently).  I've been using the web form method, and it's been 50/50 - they look like they are transmitting and then an error message comes up.  They have always worked by same method the next day though.  Haven't had to upload a release, but my library seems to be fine.

Since December 13 2011 when I was approved cannot submit Form W-8BEN.
Tried more than 10 times at the and I gave up. Mail them - nothing

I've always used FileZilla and never had a problem with the many thousands I've sent. This is a sweet agency :)
