That is because there isn't any way to edit accepted images.

Thanks for the update, Brian!

   Okay, please let us edit our accepted images. The Big Four let us do this. If you're going to compete with the big boys....

And oh yeah, the site's looking great!

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the improvements. This will help a lot.

What does the below statement mean though?

You can mix .eps files with and without preview JPEGs in the same upload batch

Does this mean we can do this:
Myvector.eps
Myvector.jpeg
Myvector.eps

What I am trying to say is will the vectors uploaded using this option be available for sale including jpeg versions? If so, we need to upload our whole port again to get the jpeg versions? Or should we just wait a bit more for that improvement to go live?

Thanks

Veer is part of Corbis and the only bigger boy out there than them is Getty.

Their average sale for me is already several times higher than from the 'Big 6', as are their standards of site appearance, usability and acceptance. Any images uploaded to any site should be properly edited and keyworded from the start.

@PB,

    I like the ability to edit keywords and titles, to images that are 2 or 3 years old. Things change over time. Other sites encourage you to update your keywords to more current relevance. It shouldn't be written in stone at the time of submission. Also, you might come up with a better title, from suggestions on a forum.

Hi cidepix -

That means: within a single upload batch, you can have some vector files where you supply the JPEG preview image, and some files without a JPEG preview image (and we'll create it for you). This is for creating the preview image only, not for providing JPEG variants for customers.

I don't have a release date for ratserized version of vectors, but it's on our roadmap.
There will be no need to reupload your entire portfolio - JPEGs will be generated for active .eps files on the site.

Point taken...current relevance of keywords is important...perhaps Brian will put his on his list of photographer suggestions.

My fiance calls me pixelbitch as she tells me I spend way to much time at the computer and neglect her...and the name stuck.

I think he meant that one might come up with a better title for their photo, based on suggestions on a forum, not you should come up with a better title! But I wondered why you have that name. Makes you sound like not a nice person, as in "you bitch!" or be-otch as they say nowadays. I thought a bitch was a female...so are you female or male?

Couple days ago I got finally tired of dashboard file ordering and posted on forum that sorting needs to be done. I guess I was not the only one tired :-)

All other improvements are less exciting for me.

Imho Veer looks good, even more so with the latest tweakings. I think its a pretty promising site.
Keep up the good work guys :)

It would be nice to be able to see our earnings without having to navigate through a bunch of slow loading pages each time we want to check. That's my biggest complaint as of now.

@Kngkyle,

Try this path: Dashboard>Statistics>>adjust "From week ending">Display as table>scroll down.

It loads pretty fast for me. I think it's the best display of earnings I've seen so far.

I think you need to improve the watermarking on Veer. It is inconsistent, and the transparency is overbearing on some of my more recent photos.

I don't think you understand what I meant.

To see your stats on Veer you have to first click 'my account', then 'your member page', and finally 'dashboard'. Nearly every other microstock site shows your account balance at the top of every page. I don't like having to flip through a bunch of pages every time I want to check my earnings. It doesn't help that the veer site often loads slowly compared to the others. (Alexa: Very Slow (7.307 Seconds), 91% of sites are faster.)

   Maybe I'm confused, but I just bookmark the Dashboard page and Dashboard opens right up. No hoops to jump through. My computer keeps me signed in. (Mac, Safari)

Same here. In fact, I only bookmark the earnings page for any of the sites that I submit to. I keep them in their own folder in my bookmarks so that I can just click "Open all in tabs" and close each one as I finish looking. (Firefox on XP)

ditto.  my morning routine.  Except I ctrl+click that bookmarks tab :)

By the time I get to looking at the slow sites (123RF, veer, crestock sometimes) they have loaded.
