Some of my newly uploaded photos have disappeared. They are not in the approved nor rejected folders. I don't want to upload the duplicates. Does it happen to anyone else?

In a nutshell, they will reappear once you have completed your tax info. Yes, you should read the other threads. :)

Which thread? I have long completed my tax info.
My portfolio is visible and has been viewed a few times. Just my recent uploads have disappeared. I have no idea if they were accepted or rejected.

i was glad to read your post, because the same thing happened to me today, and i was wondering if it was an isolated incident (reviewer pushing the wrong button?) or more of a general problem.
I had 8 pictures in my Pending folder. One was transferred to my Rejected folder, but the other 7 just disappeared. Not in the Pending anymore, not in the Approved or Rejected, and not back in the New or Editing workspace.
All of my previously approved picture are still there. Just the new batch disappeared.
In my Daily update email i received, they only mention "failed: 1", and no mention of the other ones.
BTW my tax info has been filed a while ago.
I guess i'll wait for a day or two before contacting them (maybe they will reappear when they refresh their database?) to know if i should reupload the missing pictures.

Same to me!
Yesterday: 187 approved, 25 pending...
Today: still 187 approved, 10 returned, 8 rejected...
But 10+8= 18, 7 still missing..
I think, they will appear tomorrow, I think I saw it before.

16 of my pending files disappeared half a day ago and still not there. I have no idea what's going on! It surely can't be about the tax form.

In my case also the missing images reappeared in my Approved folder 24 hours later.

Hi All -
Your images are not missing, they are still in the system - but there is an error that causes images to be "hidden" until they have been caught in the search reindex and are available externally. That's why you are seeing files "reappear" the next day.
We have identified that this is indeed a bug, and will be rolling out a fix in the next few days. Once fixed - images and counts will be correct in your dashboard.
It will still take up to 24 hours for your newly approved files to be caught in the next search reindex (there's no way around that), but at least you'll have an accurate sense of where your files are. ;)
Apologies for the confusion this has caused. Thanks for reporting these issues.

Same here .Yesterday I was missing 5 images too. not pending, not approved and not rejected. I did upload them again.
Today I looked and saw the missing ones got approved. (5 I uploaded yesterday are still pending)

Hi All -
Just to be clear - there is no need to reupload these files. Hold off until we fix this bug.
Any files that are 'missing' - have actually already been approved and the system is holding them until they are caught in the next search reindex.
Confusing! - But As I mentioned - we're working on a fix right now.
