Question about Veer rejected 10 first images

(1/2) > >>

jack-sooksan:
Hi,

I just registered Veer.com and sent 10 images to review yesterday.
Today, I found they rejected me all images with same reason.... Based on these 10 images, we can't offer you contributor privileges at this time.

I confuse about this reject due to every images used to accept by other agency.

I recheck criteria about JPG requirements again, I notice 'Save quality that veer requires as Level 9'
My all images saved as highest level (12).

So is it possible to be this reason about exceed saving quality level?

Thank you in advance,
Jack

Jo Ann Snover:
I very much doubt that it's the way you saved the images. I'm assuming they don't think the composition of the images is what they're looking for.

Veer has its own editing standards - I used to find (I was there but left over their partner program deals) that some of my images that sell well elsewhere were rejected as being "too editorial for Veer customers" (and these were not editorial images), or another rejection was something like not meeting the aesthetic standards Veer customers expect..

You might write to support to ask if they could explain further, but I don't know if they're willing to elaborate or coach

sgoodwin4813:
There is nothing confusing about that - they just don't want you as a contributor.  As Jo Ann said their standards are different and they often reject images that are fine everywhere else.  Sales there are very low these days so be happy that they have saved you the bother.

Pauws99:
Given the sales on Veer i'm not sure if they have any clue what their customers want or is that customer  :-\

Some years ago i closed account there for big unwatermarked previews and unhelpful support. Never regret and with references from others it was a good choice. During time when my images were there, i had drop to 0 sales on all (!) other sites exactly for these images. Even if they have normal previews now, i have no wish to return
