I took the survey

disambiguation, tips, ... all good but with 20+ sites I am afraid we don't have the time to choose keywords for any specific site - I try to do my best at IPTC level and then just click submit, this is my ideal keywording experience: less is more

If you want a controlled vocabulary and disambiguation, you should carry the cost of it. We are busy people! Let your editors do the job, and you can relax about it.

I took the survey but I agree with the above. A CV is a reasonable idea if you can't do equally well by just interpreting from context. It's also fine to be demanding in terms of the upload process if you produce huge sales.

Veer's problem is that you're not easy to upload to and from what I read, sales are pretty modest. Bad combination from a contributor point of view.

That's pretty much what did it for me. It was a double whammy of low sales and an upload process that required me to create a whole new higher res jpeg.

Hi all,

Thanks to those of you who have taken the keywording survey so far, and provided additional feedback here. We're eager to improve the process for you, so your input is valuable!

For those of you who haven't had a chance to check out the survey yet, you still have a week to do so--we're going to close it on Friday, July 22nd. It's really short. And the perfect excuse to procrastinate on a Friday. ;)

Here's the link again: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KVK5CNY (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KVK5CNY)

Cheers,

Chelsey

Yeah, 50 keywords is a de-facto standard everywhere.
