Ok well it seems Marketplace is live now - looks good.

I can't figure out though how to set up my profile so an interested visitor who clicks on my name can see my entire portfolio.

When I look at one of my images and click on the copyright holder's name it just shows me the Bio page. Why isn't the link of the copyright holder directing people straight to their entire portfolio?

Did I miss something?

After seeing that some photographers already got a payout I'm disappointed to see that I haven't sold one image yet (out of almost 600 uploaded)...

No you can't set up anything. I tried to create a portfolio but there is no way to do it. When I click browse, it just browses through my computer files. I think this is not the final version. Many things are missing.

Hum, seems a bit "incomplete", this whole launch...

I was just able to create a portfolio and add a photo and description.
http://ideas.veer.com/portfolio/2336

But I don't get it. It's asking me to add and edit pieces, saying that a piece = one page for one image and/or text. Certainly a portfolio of my work that buyers can browse and buy from will be set up automatically?

Yes, I agree, I think there's more coming.

edit: I just went back and looked around. Portfolios, like the one i created, are for displaying your work. I believe it is NOT the portfolio of my approved images.

I just did a search for a couple of mine that are approved and there they are! I am jazzed. If I click on the image, it goes to a page where it shows different sizes for different credit amounts. I think you guys are right...they are still working on it. Patience!

That's what I meant when I said there is no way to create a portfolio. Surely I created one with the images on my PC but it was useless so I deleted it!

I see now that when I view my port there's now stats for number of times viewed and downloaded as well as earnings from the given image.  So far it's all 0's but hopefully that'll change.

bittersweet

Unless you were part of the SV import, your images have been available less than 24 hours, on a Sunday. Are you serious?

Mine were transferred from SV a while ago. That's why I'm confused. I only added 10 images so far with Veer.

All my image stats say zero views and zero sales. However, I've earned $'s over the last few month, so I don't think these stats are updated or live yet. I think they are still getting there house in order, we need to be patient.  ;)

Where on Veer website do you any stats about views and sales?? I can only see it under my images, but nowhere can I see any summary...

Is it live only for old SV contributors or for all!?

I am one of new and I can't find my images, also my portfolio still shows 0 approved photos (I have 180+)...

Go to 'dashboard' and look at 'approved', and next to the thumbnail you'll see some new info including purchased, viewed, earned.

I am sure everybody saw that. It is not the stats page we are talking about.

Also, nothing is finalised yet imo. I think the final release will be next weekend.

I am having the same issue.  When I go to the dashboard the images that showed up in the approved image tab are no longer there.  In fact the dashboard shows 0 for all of the tabs.

All of the images I submitted where accepted and it looks to me like all of the info for my account has been lost. It is like I never completed the approval process.

a funny thing - I didn't upload for the last few weeks yet I keep getting email once a week about 2-3 of my images being approved (although everything from my last batch is processed 2 or 3 weeks ago and I have 0 images in "Pending")

On the Dashboard page, right under "Dashboard" it clearly say:

Every hero has a secret lair, and any decent secret lair has a wall of screens showing you what's going on, at a glance. This is yours. Use the dashboard to track the status of your submissions. Later, you'll also find information about your sales and earnings.

It will come, it will come . . . . . . .

It looks like different things are happening to different people. All my photos are still in my dashboard, as they were.

I'm at least happy they are making progress and we will be selling soon.

Just realized that everyone clicking on a Veer marketplace pic gets to see the photographers real name. Is there a way to stop this?

For me it would be a show stopper if it is not possible to hide my microstock endeavours from current or potential direct clients.

Are you with Bigstockphoto as well? I believe anyone can see your real name also when you click on the photographer Bio!

That is exactly the reason why I don't sell via BigStock.

Hi All -

Yup - we're still working on a few things. I'll have a complete rundown of what's new a bit later today.

But this is an important change: You now have more ways to control how your name/company/brand are displayed:

*** there is a new "alias" field on your Member page under Contact Information. This will replace your full name across the site - including on Image detail pages. Input your name and click "save changes". The change will take effect almost immediately.

*** You can also elect to input a Company name - this will display on product detail pages, and will display underneath yoru full name on your Member page.

- Brian
