I know that we are allowed to upload 100 images per week. My question is, when does that week begin? In other words, I uploaded 100 last week. When will my 0 images available to upload flip back to 100 slots available? First thing Monday morning (that has come and gone so I suspect it's not then, not sure what time zone the Veer servers are in)? Or when?

Your week begins the moment you start uploading. Veer counts 7 days for every uploaded file separately. So, free slots for you will start to appear 7 days after your first upload and their number will increase. So, if you upload 50 files in Monday, and another 50 in Tuesday, you will have 50 free slots next Monday, and 50 more next Tuesday.
Hope this helps. :)

Perfect, Whitechild, that's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks!

unfortunately like IS, unless you can upload and process (or do it ahead of time) instantly, that means you don't really get 100 per week (if you are trying to squeeze the max into an 8 week period. It would be nice if they did tell you when your slots would open up again though.

You can upload more immediately and they will show up under Workspace / New -- But you won't be able to Submit them until your weekly quota has reset.

Also you can push them into Editing - so you could add releases and keywords etc - then they can wait there until slots open up for you to submit.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can upload ahead of time. For instance, I started uploading last Tues (90) because my first 10 were still taking up slots. Then when the first 10 opened up, I uploaded 10 more on Wed. So now I have 100 in the queue for approval. According to Whitechilds schedule, tomorrow 90 slots should open up, then 10 more on Wed. I already have 56 sitting in my workspace, ready to push through tomorrow. I could upload another 44 and have all 100 ready to go. So I will easily be able to get another 100 up this week.

And hopefully my slots open up according to my upload date, NOT the approval through the queue date.

New slots quite often appear before current images are reviewed for me.

It's not important when images are reviewed. It's important when you upload them. So, if review time is longer than one week, you will get new slots before your last batch is reviewed.

Perfect, thanks for reiterating.

It would probaly help clarify if we stopped referring to "upload limits". There isn't one. You can upload your entire port tonight if you wish! The limit is on what you can submit for review. BTW everyone keeps saying 100 a week. My account says 110 a week (are you all just rounding down for neatness?).  Good luck to everyone with their reviews. Regards, David.

You say tom-A-to I say tom-AH-to.  :D  According to Ryan at Veer, the limit is 100. I have 10 images approved, it allowed me to submit 100 more, when I tried to upload one more, it told me I could not. For me, I think it's 100, no rounding. But I will know tomorrow and Wed when I should be able to submit the next batch.

My upload slots have begun to open up, as Whitechild said. This morning I had 14 available, now it has jumped to 63.

Hi guys! In August I have sent a email to Veer regarding the uploading system and so on and got the following which I would like to share :)

You are limited to uploading 100 images per week. This number resets each week based on whatever day of the week you first signed up.

Strange - my workplace page definately said "you can upload 110 images". Not that I put that to the test as I stopped at 90 odd for that batch. Maybe they have revised it down and my screen was showing the old limit? It's not a problem either way, I was just curious! Has anyone actually had anything reviewed since the start of Dash for Cash? How were your approval rates? Regards, David.

I have only had my initial 10 reviewed and accepted. 100 still waiting unreviewed from last week, and sending more over today.

Had some reviewed today.  Submitted 110 on May 5 and 110 on May 12.

So far 91 accepted, 39 rejected.

that's great! is this a better or worse ratio than normal?

The rejection rate is similar to what I have had before.  Most rejections were probably valid - mostly too similar and not suitable for Veer.

Way to go Packerguy! My old acceptance rate stands at 101 approved and about 176 rejected ("not quite Veer"). Awaiting approvals on about 124 at present. Oh, and I hope you all noticed that "110" submitted. I'm not losing it after all! I think it must be 110 for those that signed up when Veer first launched and 100 for new contributors -maybe ??? Regards, David.

Oops, I can't see how I can delete something from the pending que.  It is already online.  Is this one for support?

Yes, once you've submitted an image to our editors, you'll need to email [email protected] if you need to remove the image

Yes, I just had about 100 reviewed and it took 2-1/2 weeks.

For some reason lately about half of the images that I submit get the "needs work" button due to a lack of color profile.  I find this strange as I always export JPEGs for uploading from Lightroom and in an SRGB colorspace. I'll try Adobe 1998 and see if that makes a difference.
