Just wondering........

Has anyone with images submitted either on or after the 5th of May had them inspected as yet?

I submitted 100 on the 5th, and another 100 yesterday.   As yet, I haven't had any inspected.

My first 10 took about week (submitted after May 5th), I have 100 more in queue but only since yesterday and today.

Review times may go on quite a bit longer then we would like during Dash For Cash, but no worries-if they were submitted during the promotion period, and as long as they are eventually approved, you will get paid for them.

I don't think we are too concerned about getting paid for the Dash for Cash images, as I believe you will honor your commitment for this promotion. But unapproved images don't earn money for us on a daily basis...I think this is why everyone is concerned. Dash for Cash may be clogging up the queue even more than it already was.

I've just had 69 approved out of the 100 images that I submitted on the 5th of May.  I'm happy with the approval percentage! :)

If that approval percentage applies to the other 700 images that I'll submit between now and the 30th of June, I'll be thoroughly stoked! :)  I had 428 images approved before the commencement of the Dash for Cash promotion. :)

If you're only allowed to submit 100 per month, how can you get 400 up by June 30th?

it's 100 per week, not month

is that 100 per week sort of on a rolling week like IS does it or is it per week that the dash for cash is running (so for example if you submit 50 on day 1 and 50 on day 3, then on day 8 you could submit another 50 and on day 10 another 50, or could you submit another 100 on day 8? or is it 168 hours before you can upload again?

If the former I need to keep better track of what days I can submit again.

I have 400 pending & will be uploading another 100 on Wednesday ... it's been over a month they have been sitting in pending now.

I just had 100 go through, so that's a 3 week wait for approvals.  I only had 5 rejections which isn't bad considering the payout.

was this before or after the dash? it seems they lowered their standards for the dash since everyone's no longer complaining.

like I have said I remember a batch being massively rejected, then I kept the uploading as usual and the last time was nice..! passed from 10% approval to 90%..!

I have around 50% approval since the start

My last batch of 100 that was inspected got only one rejection, so I too have noticed an increase on acceptance ratios (got only 50% on my last batch of 100).

What is the point in complaining?

They will anyway do what they 'think' is appropriate...

Curious statistics.

Acceptance - 10 of 10 + 72 of 90 + 1 of 10 (490 pending) - cannot tell that I like the trend

I am on it!  I have plenty to upload.  The only thing with the slow inspection time is that it's hard for me to determine which of my images they will like and which they will reject.  I am just rolling with it for now ... the upload process is so easy.  I can't complain too much.

yeah that's right.. we just need to keep up the upload, reaching the 400 would be awesome, I guess almost impossible but I will give it a BIG try!

Not sure if folks noticed in the Dash for Cash reminder email that went out yesterday - but we've doubled the weekly submission limit for the final 2 weeks of the program. Raised limit is active in your account now.
Go for the 400.

Veer is going insane heheh

I noticed it too, but I thought it was a bank error in my favor. :) I guess it was on purpose. Thanks!

PS -- I'd love for it to stay at 200/week even after the dash for cash ... Now that I'm in I'd like to get my whole collection up there so I can just add Veer to my weekly routine.

We forecast a continuation of longer than normal backlog delays for some time after the Dash for Cash submission period closes on June 30th.
Our editing team will be working hard to get caught up as soon as they can - but we've got TONS of content in the queues (which is great news).

Has anyone had a 'batch' of images inspected, lately?

I had a batch of around 100 images inspected on the 16th of June, then around 20 images inspected on the 5th of July.  I still have 717 awaiting inspection that I uploaded during the promotion.

I know they're completely overworked.....probably 100's of 1000's of images were uploaded during the promotion.  I'm glad I'm not an inspector on that site! :)

I'd be interested to hear if others have had any inspected lately.....

All mine have been reviewed that I submitted in the dash for cash. Can't remember how many I submitted maybe 100. I didn't have as many as other people that I could submit as I was still submitting to them regularily before the announcement

I'm waiting from May 5th and still nothing here... Other concern: reviewers who think it's fair to push the "Other concerns. Unfortunately, we feel that the addition of the images to the monitors takes away from the usefulness/versatility of the image for our customers." button to reject bunch of 50+ images... All for images accepted by SS, IS, DT, FT...

What does that even mean? By "monitors" do they mean reviewers? If so, then by sending your images to the reviewers it will spoil your images for the customers? That is an actual rejection notice you got from Veer? I would really like to hear what that means.

Exactly the rejection note, word by word.

Stupid question but, there were no monitors in the pic, right? (to me it sounds like a picture of a laptop or something where you glue'd another image on..?)

Ah, that totally makes sense now. koufax73 didn't mention what the image was. But he is also saying that they rejected 50+ images using that rejection. ??? Something's wacky.

I'm sorry, my fault. The rejections of the "monitors" were only related to a series of photos in wich I put a picture inside a monitor of a laptop. The others images rejected had only a similar, but not the same, motivation.

Yes, very inconvenient. I had to cut and paste all the 700. Took me 3 days work. Are you using the Core IPTC scheme like in Irfanview? They probably only implemented the Adobe scheme. If I reach my 400, I will put more time in it (I have 400 "to edit"). If not, not. Unless they start to sell like hell of course. Let's see.
