Please can anybody help me with my problem??
how did you do guys to re-upload the images without keywords (or the keywords added with another program) my images wont process but i cant delete them or overwrite them either via FTP.
Im stuck in a loop here, every time i acces the page automatically start to proces the images and ended up with the same "uncknown error" just to re try again and again.
thank you

As I forgot to say,all of them got rejected for the same reason. All isolated on white.  The site is full of those kind of images. Don't get it  :-\

When I followed the link in the email I found myself logged in as someone else, with access to their account details and all their personal information. This is quite worrying. When I finally logged in as myself, images were transferred from SV but no thumbnails showing.

At the moment I am quite discouraged by the number of errors found by the users here. You would've thought that they would have spent a bit longer testing this.

Any hope for the future here I wonder.....

Hmm, maybe its just me but I cant get back to the contributors section, I clicked on the marketplace tab now I can only see the customer side even when I log out and back in again.

This should be called Marketplace BETA.

Too many issues.

Looks like they never tested the site before.

I wonder what the first potential buyers are thinking.

Anyone any sales yet?

The "first potential buyers" have been shopping at MP since it was first unveiled and I for one have been really enjoying the convenience of having MP images in my shopping cart right alongside images from the main Veer collection, and being able to use the same P.O. number and a single purchase to download the whole group. I have had no problems whatsoever as a buyer.

I believe that the images that were uploaded yesterday by new contributors that signed up yesterday are going to be part of a later push, but I could be mistaken about that.

The Marketplace tab is for the buyers. To get to your contributor page, click on "Account" (top right) and then "Your Member Page". You will see the Marketplace options on the right.

I agree that this could be a little more obvious. It took me a while to find it and then remember how I got there.

Its working perfect for me uploading with FTP. The process is really nice.    The contributor interface is a mess though.   No wonder everything goes wrong...

It's rare that I complain about rejections, but with nearly 100 images pending and they have started rejecting my first batch for:
"Not suitable for stock lack of commercial appeal"
I already have nearly 900 images online and these are some of the rejections:

Come on Brian, these are good sellers and I am sure are suitable for stock??

Thanks for listening, apart from the rejections I am really liking the site so far :-)

I cant get the ftp to work with Filezilla although all other transfers can be made with no problem to other sites.
I have filled in server details as follows

Host is    upload.veer.com

PORT 22

Server type is FTPES/over explicit/TLS/SSL

Logon type   Normal

User  marilyna

Password     as per Veer login

Passive mode ticked. (Ive also tried default on the mode but its still a no go.)

It tries to connect but I get the message

"ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".

Can anyone please tell me what I need to do please or what I'm doing wrong? Or is this a glitch?

Also no pics appearing with my transferred files, (they were transeferred yesterday) also no descriptions at all and all the keywords are all very strange.

Can anyone help, its all so tiring!

marilyna

Its all such a hassle.

This feature is going to be added at a later date, I imagine in time for the 'summer marketing launch'.

I couldn't get the FTP to work either but uploading through the browser was just as good as using cyberduck, there didn't seem to be a limit on how many to upload at a time. I was able to throw up 300 in no time... now I just have to wait until I have my quota refreshed.

As for keywords, I bet ALL former SV contributors will have keyword issues for the mere fact that SV was famous, at least early on, for changing our keywords and descriptions. I don't know if they continued it to the end, I stopped looking figuring that they knew what they were doing.....

Yes my keywords and descriptions are a mess too.

If I upload through the browser even though it says I can upload  one or more files, I can only do one at a time. I thought Id do 1 or 2 just to see how the process worked etc, and yes that went OK, but there is no way I can cope with uploading one at a time in the future.
I wrote to support last night but still no reply and I guess they are trying to work through the problems.

I am using safari and when I click the upload button, or whatever it is called a window opens and when i get inside the folder of pictures, I just select a bunch of them all at the same time.
I had a folder with all the ones that were supposed to go to SV sitting on the desktop and on a mc you can color code them, I did that for each group before uploading so I wouldnt lose track....

I think I'm just going to be patient and let them work out all the bugs before I bother trying to upload or do anything.

Seems like all my images imported from SV have their keywords completely mixed up. E.g. image of a vegetable garden patch SKU #1412564 has these keywords assigned to it:

"adventure, blue, computer-generated imagery, conceptual, cutouts, drawings, extreme sports, figure, full-length, gold metal, humanoids, metallic, shiny, snowboarders, snowboarding, snowboards, three dimensional, white background "

I have no idea where these keywords come from, it is certainly not what I submitted. It's a total mess. They better re-import everything.

Has anyone had a chance to read the update about the keyword issue? They are very aware of the problem. I think it isn't necessary to keep reporting it over and over again.

No problems at all.  Uploaded just fine using SmartFTP, processing was quick and easy, overall positive results.

I uploaded 10 yesterday for review and had all of them rejected for not suitable for stock lack of commercial appeal. I totally disagree with their reason. They have images on the site that are far less appealing and the same type. :-\
javascript:void(0)

Same here... Not suitable for stock lack of commercial appeal

I even made sure I sent them a variety and my sellers from other sites... go figure.

I guess this is one pot I need to keep my fingers out of then... Right now I upload to 13 sites and that takes me forever... :-\
