After being blown off by support that my internet connection is the reason why I can't upload certain images, I kind of found out that (for me) it's a file size issue.

It appears that all the files that I upload which are less than 11MB (or less than 11.500KB) go through fine. Once I exceed the 12MB mark the upload goes on strike.

CoreFTP simply stops at roughly 11.3 MB.

Could anyone confirm this "restriction" (although the max. upload size is supposedly 20MB)?

Maybe this help you a bit. it is the Image # requirements for veer

JPEG photos and illustrations

    * Resolution: Minimum 1600 x 1200, preferred 3000 x 2000 or larger
    * File size: Minimum 700 kilobytes, preferred 1 megabyte or larger, maximum 20 megabytes (compressed file sizes)
    * Color profile: sRGB or Adobe RGB 1998
    * Save at quality level 9 (strikes a good balance between file size and file quality)
    * Balanced highlights and shadows
    * Avoid upsizing files more than 5% from the original in-camera resolution

EPS vector illustrations

    * Maximum Artboard Size: 18 inches (1296px) by 18 inches (1296px) @ 300 ppi
    * File size: Preferred 300 kilobytes or larger, maximum 20 megabytes
    * EPS format, AI8 compatible
    * No open paths
    * Avoid gradients that may limit editing flexibility in some software

Maybe this help you a bit....

I appreciate your efforts but it doesn't help. In my OP I referred to those requirements that you just posted.

Although they claim that files up to 20MB are acceptable I cannot upload any files that are bigger than 12MB.

Here my question again:

Did anybody experience this problem as well?
or
Did anyone successfully upload bigger files than 12 MB via FTP or HTTP?

i have the same thing, but in my case filezilla stops at ~9mb. uploading same files via browser worked fine.

it was also mentioned here: http://www.microstockgroup.com/veer-marketplace/problem-with-ftb-to-veer/, so it's probably not your connection.

I uploaded via HTTP few 14-17Mb photos without any problems...

(in fact, StockXpert has a limit of 16 mb per photos... but this is another story!)

Thanks Claude for posting this info.

I couldn't even get those files (+12MB) uploaded via HTTP. It's very weird.

I have no trouble uploading to any other site whether it's HTTP or FTP.

StockXpert's 16MB limit bothers me too but still better than 123RF's 10MB limit...  :P

I cannot get anything over 9 mb to upload via FTP,(I use Filezilla). I uploaded a couple of larger files using the manual system and they went through fine. I am not resizing everything just for Veer, and I don't have time to upload everything manually, so they will only get the smaller files.
