Paypal strikes again!

"Hi

Due to an issue with Paypal, your Veer royalty payment has been slightly delayed.  Paypal has assured us that they have corrected the issue, and we will be able to send all scheduled payments by the end of next week.

Is this something that commonly happens with PayPal? I have not experienced this before.

get my veer dash for cash payment through paypal, i am surprised since i didn't know it is automated paying.

and, ouch, 30% for tax..i got much less.  ??? ::)

Interesting to note that Istock has also delayed payment due to Paypal problems.

But according to posts in the IS forum by admins, that was istock's fault for not making the transfer, not paypals.

certainly see the change in 'community' with the thread about it on istock. 12 months ago, it would be a couple of people complaining and everyone else laughing it off, not anymore

very happily got my veer payment :)

I got an e-mail notice from Veer saying I had been paid, but nothing in my Paypal account. I sent a query to Veer on Fri morning about this, but have not heard back. I am concerned that it got sent somewhere, but not to me.

I had the same thing. I haven't put out the search party yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

On a side note, kudos to Veer's new dashboard. It's much better.

Received an email about payment, but still haven't had anything hit my paypal account.  Sent an email to veer, but no response yet.

I still haven't been paid. It's been about a week since I received notice that they have authorized payment and about a month since the end of last month. Is there an official word on this or is it just... it happens when it happens?  ???

It normally would have hit your account within a day or two of receipt of the payment advice statement. This is abnormal, and fallout of some issues we had with PayPal earlier in the month. We're tracking these down and working on reprocessing/resending payment.

Thanks. I'd actually contacted Contributor Services and they said about the same thing about problems with Paypal. Hopefully, it will show up in the next few days.
