Title: Veer Rejections
Post by: cathyslife on August 03, 2009, 19:41
I just got 6 rejections. The comment? Other concerns. That isn't helpful at all. Does anyone know what that means? They aren't people photos, so not about model release. Geez.

Oh no! That's frustrating. Probably it just means "We don't like it".
I noticed that you keep having problems there. Sorry to hear that.

Actually, I have 77 approved there now. The last time I was moaning and groaning I had 24 rejected and 24 approved, but 30+ had disappeared, which I didn't realize.

I think these kinds of comments have been mentioned in other threads, but it would help to know what other concerns are so I don't keep submitting the same types of photos.

Got your point. Sorry, can't help on that one - I haven't had a rejection like that from them.

One of my teachers had told me a sentence I will always remember  :)

I basically asked him if my animation skills were good enough to work for a major animation company? (It was a short 2d animation - those classic disney type drawn animations )

He said: It doesn't matter if I say it is bad or good. Be honest with yourself and you will know the answer.

He was right, I knew the answer, only wanted it confirmed.

"The animation skill was good compared to other students in the class, but I was not ready for a studio!"

This was about 6 years ago, Now the skills are ready, but who cares!  I have my own business and forgot to mention: "Long live microstock" :D

When I was doing my review I got a bunch of images that had that comment.  I emailed support asking what does this mean sense it gives you no direction for another set of 10.  They took only a few hours to get back, but the guy told me that the review most likely did not think the image was right for the site.  That was his only guess.  I have not seen that comment yet sense I got in the door.
