Is Veer worth uploading? What's your experience with sales? And is the upload process fast (like Canstock)?
I've a portfolio of 750 photos.

I have only uploaded a small portion of my portfolio and am on the fence about doing any more. The upload process isn't easy - think iStock not CanStock, although Veer does have FTP. 50 uploads a week, disambiguation of terms and a glacial (about a month) review process. They reject files that have sold well elsewhere and since June I've had 3 sales (on a total of about 100 files, not my whole portfolio) for a grand total of $5.25

Your mileage may vary...

I was at Veer but withdrew because they provide no opt-out to their partner programs and I don't want to participate in any partner programs.

I don't bother with the disambiguation, just upload, add releases, and submit all. Just one more click than Canstock. But unlike canstock, the approval process is like watching paint dry. I think it's 4 weeks or something like that. Get a sale every now and then, but I doubt I'll reach payout this year.

I get hardly any sales one month and then I get several EL's the next.  I'm pleased that my portfolio is there but most of it was transferred from Snap Village, so I really didn't have a lot of work to do.  Then they paid for uploads and that got another chunk of my portfolio.  Reviews take forever but that really doesn't bother me.  I hope they get more buyers and sales become more consistent but I can't complain at the number of EL's they sell.

Im getting good sales at Veer, even ELs. Far better then I anticipated. Reviews takes a long time.

I don't care too much about slow reviews, but I don't want to spend a lot of time on uploading for a site that will give me few sales. So in Veer I'll have to disambiguate and choose categories?

Veer gives me few sales, but big ones. About 3-4 ELs this month, and the regular prices are very good too.

The uploading process at Veer is light years ahead of agencies like PantherMedia.
Veer also doesn't nickel and dime you like most other sites.

No, there are no categories to choose. You will only see the disambiguation if uploading a single image -it doesn't come into play for batches. And, at most, it might query one or two keywords -not the whole lot, like at Istock! Very few sales for me (on a very small port)  but just had an EL last week. Regards, David.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a try!  ;D

Good to hear from people who are getting sales from Veer.. I had a bunch of pics on snapvillage for years with minimal sales (only one payout) and when they didn't transfer my port to veer, I was quite upset, but after a few months I applied to Veer with my best sellers from IS and SS and they were rejected for "pixelization" :)) (having in mind how anal IS are).. so I haven't bothered again, but it might be worth it as it seems to be very solidly in the mid-tier by reported earnings..

I'm starting uploading on Veer (I'm officially a contributor now), but the upload process is terrible!
I upload via FTP, but some files doesn't show in pending list. Is it just my problem or is it "normal"?

I've just understood the problem: when uploading files with the same name FileZilla overwrites them.

You are uploading files with the same name?

How are you organizing your images on your hard drive if you just use the same name?

They are files located in different folders, so there's no danger to make confusion.

I have had trouble getting confirmation emails that my images have been processed through two different email providers.

My site shows that I have 253 images for sale but my dashboard figures are 172 approved and 275 rejected.  I don't know where the 253 figure comes in.  If I do have that many for sale they are off the radar of my approved images so I don't know if I would be paid for that if they did sell.

The payment process is not contributer friendly and doesn't really encourage dealing with the 50 images per upload requirements.

Some of the contributors have thousands of images accepted and it sortof defies reason given the slowness of their processing.

My total sales for this year are about $25.00.  I don't know if it is worth it for me to continue but it looks like not.
