Veer Market Place has been very quiet lately. I have had no sales and few views for a while. My new submissions have been pending for 10 days. Does anyone have an explanation?

My last submissions took a little longer to review, which I attributed to the Thanksgiving holiday.  Views look okay; sales have vanished.  Between the lack of revenue and my lousy acceptance rate, I don't think I'll give Veer much attention.

Sales slowed down quite a bit this month. Hope it is a temporary situation caused by end of year and holidays. :-\

Very, very quiet for me too, almost dead.

I have only had 3 sales there since August. I am trying to get my account closed as we speak.

Sales were OK last month, I don't expect them to suddenly rival the big sites, it will take time.  Compared to all the other new sites I have tried, they are doing well.  I expect more from them because they have the Corbis connection but we will have to see if they really want to push microstock.

I see two very pronounced periods of activity in my Veer views+sales chart.  It suggests that Veer did some kind of promotion that generated bursts of views and sales that lasted 3 or 4 weeks then died.  My big sales happened between mid Aug - mid Sept, then again from mid Oct - mid Nov.  Veer has been completely dead for me in both views and sales for the past two to three weeks.  Do your stats match up with this?

If this theory holds true, that we generated sales during a period of heavy promotion only to see everything vanish when marketing activity ended, Veer will have a very tough road ahead.  To succeed, they'll have to sink a sizable investment into consistent advertising and get market share from the big players.

This is exactly what I am finding...no sales since mid November...quite a few views though.

Also finding the the average sale on Veer is the highest I'm getting on any site so far...higher than iStock.

Yes, pretty dead for me to.  Only the occasional view and even rarer sales.

I am not giving up on them yet.  Figure I will give them a year or so to get their footing.

I have the worst rejection rate there of anyplace though.

Looking at the regular Veer site I see that they have better images on micro than regular RF in many cases...I think they will be a winner if we all stay with it.

After I raised the concerns, suddenly a sale was reported. Images from almost two weeks ago are still pending.

My steady stream of sales suddenly stopped on Nov 15th, seems odd. But there again who can predict the regular ebb and flow of a new micro. As far as I am concerned it is still early days and will continue to submit.

 ;D

starting a race on a dead horse is always a bit difficult, to argue why somebody should sit on this horse is more difficult, to realize who is sitting on this dead horse is most difficult.

Well, I can't complain now. Just got the largest combined EL ever for one photo. The person bought the large file, a mull-seat EL and an unlimited reproduction EL. :D

The weirdest thing is that I just got same kind of sales as you. 3.50 + 17.50 + 35.00 = $56
(The image was a shot of Omega3 fish oil gel capsules, and it was an US sale)

I was just complaining about the lack of sales, but my december just got very good :)

When the heck do they pay?  I've got like $100 in my account and there's no cashout request...what do they pay every 3 months or something?

From Veer website:

When will I be paid?
The minimum threshold for payout is $100.00. Royalties will accrue until you surpass $100. If you dont happen to hit $100 during the year, youll automatically receive payout of any accrued royalties after the close of the calendar year.

You will be paid 15 days following the month your accrued royalties surpass $100. So if you made $50 in March, and $75 in April, you will be paid $125 by May 15th. If you made $105 during the month of June, you would receive payment on July 15th.

Yesterday was a record day at VMP. I earned more from them in a day than I normally do at the other Micro's in a week!
Ryan is very quick to respond to any question i have too.
Submissions take a while to be reviewed and can get a lot rejected.

In general I am happy I have stayed with them.

Anyone else notice a burst of sales at Veer?  After about a month of little to no activity, I saw a big spike in sales for the past two days.  This is now the third significant spike for me since Veer's launch... wondering if these are tied to promotional pushes on Veer's part.

Also, is anyone else having to log in nearly every single time you pull up your Dashboard?  I've had to do this ever since the security lapse this past weekend.

No sales spike for me, very slow this month.  Not had any problems logging in either.

I've made three sales in 4 months, so I pulled my photos. My reject rate was almost the same as my accept rate. I just don't think they're buying what I'm selling, on Veer anyway. Other sites seem to be holding their own.
