I sent them my concerns about to many refunds and tgey got back to me with this explanation which now i can understand better the situation:
Thanks for reaching out! We have had occasionally refunds at VideoBlocks and these are due to a few different factors. Very rarely, we have customers that confuse the two libraries between our unlimited libraries and the marketplace. A customer may not understand they are making an actual purchase- and purchase a clip thinking they are downloading a file. In this case if a customer reaches out or we detect an unwanted purchase, we have the ability to refund a customer if the clip was not downloaded. If in these cases the clip was downloaded, we don't allow for refunds.
Lately we've seen some fraudulent activity on the website when a customer's information is compromised outside of our site and then used on VideoBlocks. Were right there with you and not thrilled with these individuals committing fraud as it violates the rights of everything we work for as creators, but we will promise to continue to pour our efforts into beefing up security prevent these occurrences going forward and dont expect instances like this to continue.
Although there have been refunds, our development and finances teams are working on this as we speak to cut these out entirely. We're still here to be the best marketplace out there will continue to improve in every area we can!
