Title: Request from Videoblocks to have content Member Subscription Library
Post by: i8a4re on February 22, 2018, 01:32
I've been approached by video blocks to have a large portion of my video library (about 15% of it) put into their membership model. The offered a fairly sizable lump sum, but breaking it down, it works out $34 per clip (not so good). Videoblocks then has a 'buyout' of that content inside the videoblocks / story blocks eco system. I can still sell the same content elsewhere, but I will lose future income from those clips

Has anybody here have experience at at giving videoblocks (or pond5) a set of videos or images in exchange for a lump sum fee? Did it effect the sales from the rest of the library. Opinions / experience appreciated.

thx
Jonathan

It’s been discussed a bit at this thread:

Hope it helps!
