So I join VideoBlocks in Feb. In Feb I get $94.32, March I get $94.32, April get $94.32, May it's $94.32 and June I get $0.00. Then just a couple of hours into July I get two sales in a row to make $94.32 for July.
When my average of two sales a month total, both come in the first 0.25% of the month, my suspicious mind makes me wonder if those sales were actually from June, and they were delayed to July for some kind of cash flow reason. I mean, they've now got an extra 30 days to pay out that money.
I could be wrong. It could just be a coincidence. Maybe I'll end up getting four sales in July rather than the usual two. Maybe I'll get another two sales at 3am on the first of August. I can go with coincidence this time, but if that happens next month then it would raise an eye brow or two.

Hold on. I got a bit confused as I'm not in my normal timezone. I got the sales emails at 8:02 which is 2:02 UK time, 21:02 on the 30th EST and 18:02 on the 30th Pacific. If VB is a US company, then surely those are both June sales? Unless they go on Universal Time or something.... in which case two sales in one hour and two minutes is pretty unlikely.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories that some agencies get all the money from some sales of clips or photos with 10+ sales since you'll never trace all those buyers as a contributor :) I guess you'll never know the truth about your actual sales. My husband's numbers from Videoblocks are 47, 94, 330, 235. Started there in February too, 3000+ clips.

Yeah, I started in Feb, had decent sales in March, April and May (a nice $300) but also $0 in June. Let's hope July makes up for it.
It could also be when they put in marketing money on AdWords etc.

I've seen some of your clips. They are quite unique and have more commercial value than some collections of 1000+ my-dog-my-phone-my-beer etc.
