In my case, when a lot of time and efforts were spent to delete images from YAY - the problem was that on my pages there was no button to delete, on any page. In my account. Some people here mentioned in responses that the button exists. They can see it in their accounts. So for proof do usual things: clear cash of browser, try in different browsers and take screenshots. In my case worked only insisting that they do deletion from their interface. BTW, similar story was some years ago with CafePress - they insisted that i have to renew browser and use only one version (not the latest one) which they mentioned, to delete images and products. No way, it was the same - other users had buttons for deletion enabled, but in my account the button was grayed out, and buttons for upload and creation were enabled. I think some agencies pay attention when on some accounts amount of deletions exceed some predefined level.
