Has something happen to Yay? I can't upload files to ftp, and all my photos are in 'pending' queue suspiciously long... 

Is it just me or you guys have similar? Assuming that someone still uploads files there...

Hehe what about that thread I've read somewhere to support smaller stock sites and hoping (for the best ) that some day they will be competition for bigger players?

Nah, I guess it's just everyone. Pity because for me Yay is most usable and user friendly stock I've ever seen. At least from submitter's point of view.

Looks like their website is down.  Was up late yesterday but right now I am getting a 500 error message.

strange.  I was just referring to the site being up before, but I just tried the FTP and managed to connect.

Didn't there used to be a thread that was supposed to be the main one for YAY communications? The one that was supposed to take the place of their forum? I can't seem to find it now. Can someone point me to it. I've sent messages to YAY but am not getting a response from them. Curious as to whether anyone has seen third-party results from the 3rd qtr yet. 4th qtr will be over soon and still nothing from end of September. Thanks.

I emailed to close my account and was ignored.  emailed again and got a response.  "You should wait.  We're getting there." 
Emailed again.  CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.

Nothing here yet Carolyn, though Linda did post that they hoped to have them before Christmas. Regarding a Yay thread - I don't think there is any particular one that they respond to. If you don't already know you can find all Yay threads by clicking on "forum" at the top left of this page. Then scan down to New sites/low earners and you'll find a Yay category which has all related threads on it. Here is one example http://www.microstockgroup.com/yaymicro/third-party-sales/. Just seems unusual for them to not at least post some kind of update. But could be Christmas is slowing things down with people taking off. You are welcome Carolyn. For what it's worth I submitted a batch the day or so after Christmas (more Get A Life than Living Life perhaps!) and they were all reviewed by the next morning - so things are still happening there. Have a great New Year yourself! Kind regards, David.

Found the answer to your problem. They closed my account instead. That's the only answer I can come up with why I had zero ($0) sales at Yay in 2010.

Yeah, I know you're being funny.  Nice to know I'm not the only one who can't get a single sale at Yay.  Quite ironically named, wouldn't you say?

And I have problem with uploading today. First tried to upload by www, but there was some error, then tried by FTP and the same problem:
"An internal error occurred, please try again"
Every way to upload gives me error... How many times should I try to ... is it worth?
Is YAY closed or something? :/

It looks like something is wrong with uploading, I got the same internal error. Also the approval process is slower than normal, and a few elements on the website are buggy. But I've got three sales this week, so if there is something wrong with the search/buying, that happened today.

I discovered the way to eliminate all problems with Yay. I just emailed a request to cancel my account and remove my images from the search engine. I also asked them to send me any accrued commissions. What do you think the chances of that happening?
