I was recently approved at 123rf and have started uploading my images there. They're web form interface for uploading is very simple and I like what I've seen so far ...

What is traffic like to 123rf and how does it compare with say DT, FT, and BigStock where I am also currently approved and have portfolios ... being new to all its hard for me to tell. I've had my first sale at DT :)  ... but am still awaiting my first sales at all of my other sites.

Any comment would be greatly appreciated regarding 123rf and its comparisions to those other than SS or IS where I am still awaiting approvals ...

Traffic is slow, and it's one of my worst performers. But 123RF does let you download your own files, so they are useful as a back up. The referral program isn't bad either. Perhaps, with time, 123RF will improve.

They do fairly well for me, on par with DT, IS, and BS, much better than Fotolia.

Wow!  How do you do it?  I wonder what your "secret" is?  For me IStock stays constantly light years ahead of 123, even with having more files on 123.  I have a forever give-up/keep-trying relationship with 123.  The others are also ahead of 123, except LO, and BS is creeping farther ahead very steadily.

Yes. Let's all here from dbvirago on what his "secret" is ... I've never heard of anyone having sales "on Par" with IS as one of the "big 2" between them and SS.

I am still awaiting approvals at SS, IS, and StockXpert ... So I am learning at the other sites.

123rf seems to be responding well to my uploads so far (33 approvals and only 3 rejections) so I can only hope that it will correlate to sales one day in the future ...

at this stage they are #5 for the month by about $0.50 so look to be #4 or #5 for the month

Not to me, after more than a year only $ 3.28 in earnings. Have made payout in SS BigStock and have alot more in other sites and all with the same images.

For me 123 is a third tier site - on par with BigStock. Its easy uploading process eases the very low profit pain. I make a puny $30+ per month there with 1000+ images. It's worth the effort, but only barely so.

During a business day I earn about twice as much at iS of what I earn in a month at 123rf.

123 sales have been very low for me, however, I've only had 57 pix there.   I just started to do mass uploading there in hopes that with a larger 'folio I might attract more sales...   we'll see how that works out.  123 is an easy upload.    8)-tom

Don't have a secret. Upload the same files to 123 as everywhere else. Way behind on IS because of the limits. 123 is in second place this month, although way behind SS who has been rocking last 3 months. In Sept. they were #1 due to several ELs.

123rf is my 7th best selling site.  I think it is worth uploading there if you have a big portfolio.  I was $3 short of a payout last month.  Not good compared to the big sites but it only takes minutes to upload and over the months the money adds up.

If you are entering your IPTC data correctly and have the bandwidth to spare I can't see why not.

The returns may not be big but they exceed the amount of effort and they have a high acceptance rate.

Its not like you have to re-order your keywords or add categories.

I am really enjoying their easy upload process and high approval rating. As I am waiting on just about every site for my first sale ... it doesn't hurt me to try where its easy to upload and lot's of my images are being approved :)

That being said ... I am still anxiously awaiting the day I receive approval at shutterstock. Part of me wonder's whether or not that will happen with my current camera ... anyway ... for now I do what I can with what I have ...

So far i`m very pleased with 123 RF. Its a great site and very super easy to upload too.
My sales are starting to pick up over there. I also like its "live chat" feature. I had a few errors in the beginning with my account and the problem was solved immediately using live chat.
It would be nice if all sites could have that live chat function.

Then again...
LOL

WOW...   I just had a batch of 20-some with only one reject and .... approved in a little over 24 hours!! So I uploaded another 20-some a few hours ago. The upload at 123 is fantastically easy....
Now... if the sales follow.......  we'll see.  8)=tom

55 accepted with only 5 rejections since 12/10 for me :)

Now I can only hope there will be sales to follow ...

I really like the way their  "history" and "portfolio" features are laid out.

I've been there for a few months and slow sales but since I use prostock master to bulk upload photos there isnt any to keep me from uploading.

I don't really sell anything at 123, but I've never had a rejection with them either, so at least they make me feel good.! ;D

This tread have making me rethinking about my idea to not upload more there. I just uploaded a couple of batch there and now I remember why I was taking this decision. I upload 9 just 8 is showing. After the confirmation button not appear. Have to go in the history.

The good thing is that I don't have to choose the categories...who can be tricky sometimes. I don't like 123RF so much, but what I read about it seem to be really good so lets hope I sell a bit more there in the future.

Does the ease of use justify poor sales. With about 200 pics very sparse sales.
