How successful are Alamy contributors with RF sales?

I know many did well with RM, but what has the experience been like for those who only have RF images to upload? I used to hate uploading to them, as the interface was so clunky, but the newer upload system is easier so I'm wondering if it's worth making the effort?

Not much difference as Alamy licenses are all RM/RF hybrid anyway.

Do you get many sales and is it worth the effort? They were one or my lowest performers last year, but I didn't upload much.

I publish all my earnings on my blog - see link below.

I don't differentiate between RF and RM sales. At a quick glance, they're quite similarly priced. I've seen RF sales at $100+ and RM sales at <$2 and everything in between.

OK, thanks. I was wondering if RF faired better or worse against RM, but overall figures are also a helpful guide. I'm busy culling dead wood, but there are one or two places that I wish to research a little more before deciding whether to cut them loose.

Over the past year, about 6% of my sales were RM, 12% Editorial RF and the remaining 82% were regular RF.  Gross amounts were from 99 cents to $75.  In previous years it was a bit more RM but I am too lazy to add it up.  I have a lot more RF there than RM.  Last year they were #4 for me, after SS, Canva and AS, and they were about 27% of SS.  Last year was my BYE there; over all years they are number 8.

Only you can decide whether they are worth the additional hassle.  They definitely sell, but the 30% royalty on RF sales makes the return lower than it used to be.  No idea how it will be going forward with the new owners.

their market is specialised so this will affect your sales way more than RF vs RM.  I fit withing their target, so they are my biggest earner this year

I sell both RM and RF on Alamy,  hard to compare which sells better. What does NOT sell that well are very generic RF images  (hot on microstock and better left there).

Hello, Alamy Contributors.
I would like to become to community of contributors, but I have a few questions (I read the conditions on the site, I did not understand something).
1) If I am contributor of other agencies (adobestock and other),can  I become contributor on Alamy?
2) The photos that I submit must be unique (exclusive) for Alamy, or can I transfer photos that are published on other sites (adobestock)?
4) Can I get money from Alamy  to Payonner or Skrill?

I will be very happy for the answer)))

My highest earning sales were RF images. It's true though, that only very small part of my Alamy port includes RM images.

1) Yes
2) They do not need to be exclusive, but anything submitted RM on Alamy should only be RM anywhere else and not RF.
4) I don't know but I'm sure it will say in the information provided by Alamy or a FAQ sheet.
