I got BS e-mails in Russian and when I logged in I saw they were payment notifications. My account has been hacked and payment info changed to a Money Bookers account. I've informed BS and waiting to hear from them. I suggest others check their payout details on BS.

OK, maybe not that efficiently. The money was back this morning and I could request a proper payout. But when trying to log in again I got:

Login failed due to administrative reason. For customer service assistance, please contact 001-xxx-xxx-xxx.

I understand that they have security concerns, but earnings on BS are not worth making international calls for.

Yeah, happened to me too a few months back. The hacker changed my payout address to a Yandex email address. As soon as I would change my password and account info, he'd break in and change it back to his. BS was on it quickly, sealed up the broken entryway I guess, and I haven't had a problem since, but I still check in every day to see if all is still well. (Helps that I've got nothing worth stealing there!)
Anyway, odd that in 10 years that's never happened to me on SS, IS, DT, FT, 123, and other sites that are no longer with us.  Only BS and only this year. Seems to have happened to a lot of other contribs on BS, too.  Hmm.
Hope this gets resolved for you.

Is that a joke? You obviously also have security concerns, as you were concerned that somebody had hacked into your account and was about to do away with your earnings. And now they want you to do something as a security measure... it's all too complicated and annoying for you? If earnings on BS are not worth making international calls for, you may as well just send your new password to your new Russian friend so he can have the money after all.

It's 2017, ~1 cent per minute Skype-to-phone is hardly an exorbitant amount of money. Unless you charge your clients $400/hour and your time is too valuable, I don't see a problem with calling internationally.

That's great, did you use the support email or did you contact them in a more direct way for such a fast response?

I used the support e-mail. They replied pretty promptly and cancelled the payout. Now we are arranging re-instating the account. Which a call wouldn't make go any faster.
