I sideloaded 58 images from Photoshelter about 24 hours ago, PS says the transfer was good but BigStock doesn't have them in the FTP log and they haven't shown up for submission.

Managed to upload 8 files before being booted off (as usual) is there an alternative to Filezilla?

I use FTP Rush. Prefer it above Filezilla (but it unfortunately does not make a difference at Bigstock)

I use Lightburner to upload to a number of sites and lately Bigstock has not been successful.  I am assuming it's the ftp issue on their end as it has worked before.

FTP is stuck again. And per the previous replies, it has nothing to do with connection. the files get uploaded to the server fine, they just never go anywhere. I'm going to have to stop uploading there until this is fixed. I've contacted support 2-3 times a week for a month now. This is taking more of my time than it is worth.

I usually upload via picworkflow, last weeks upload showed they went to BS no problem but when I checked nothing there, they showed up in my new uploads queue 5 days later by which time I had uploaded them via the browser. Uploaded another lot this weekend and no show yet I'm hoping they turn up sometime soon as I can't waste time with the browser everyweek.

I'm surprised they haven't made the 'Bridge to Bigstock' more widely available to more contributors by now. It must be costing them plenty to review so many images at both SS and BigStock, especially from established contributors with large portfolios who have recently given up exclusivity.

Yes and that's the reason I've stopped uploading to Bigstock. If SS was still doing the bridge program, it would make sense for me to pay attention to BS. I have 10k images on SS and only 6k on BS, not worth wasting time to upload the difference for less than 100$ income monthly.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for chiming in. We identified the root cause for the problem that you've described (images uploaded on ftp, but not available on the website). We implemented a fix, and the service is now catching up, so it may take a little bit of time for images to become available if you don't see them yet.

We're also going to be moving our ftp to a new server to try and increase performance in about a week's time. Thanks for your patience everyone!

That is great news Boris! Please be sure to let us know when the new server is up. Would love to give it a bash. Hate that 10 at a time uploads.

Good to find an agency that listens and cares.

Thanks for the fix!

What will happen to the files which are stuck on the old ftp server but still not on site? Disappear forever in cyberspace when you move to the new server, or will eventually show up?

Hi all,

Update on this: we have switched over our FTP uploads to a new server! Please give it a try and see how its working for you. (Charl perhaps you want to try running a ping for ftp.bigstockphoto.com again?)

There should not be any "stuck" photos from the old FTP server - but if for some reason you aren't seeing something you had uploaded, please try and upload it again.

Thanks for your help everyone,
