It arrived at the beginning of this week. It seems like the only thing that does not fit is battery. User interface changed a little but I guess I will get used to it soon.  The thing that really surprised me at first was Auto ISO setting, I thought it should default to 100.

What custom functions do you recommend to set?

If you don't like it, you can always send it to me.  I'll gladly take it off your hands

That's not normal. If you send it to me I can have a look at it see if there's anything broken.

I would imagine that in the manual modes you can take it out of auto ISO - who needs that?  It's like riding a bike with training wheels  

I can't wait till weekend when I could put this baby to a real test. In meanwhile I am snapping my daughter so I can get used to buttons and my wide angle lens :-) Out of sudden it's 17mm. I should probably try whole scale of ISO settings to see how far I can go without noise reduction software. I have heard that up to 3200 it's pretty low noise.
