Any illustrators out here having 100% rejections, even though you have typically had 100% acceptance in the past? Demanding releases from drawings of still life and people that you make up?  :o

k_t_g

Nope.
Are you uploading lots of them all at once?
That could be the problem.
Only upload up a few at a time. Images should be varied and unique.
Research is needed.
But then if its alright with you could we see a few samples please?
It would help to see a few.   :)
PS not interested in coping, just would like to help.   :)

Stock Wife

We upload photos (not vectors) but have been having a few batches lately with 100% rejection. Usual acceptance rates are over 80% and never before the last couple of weeks have we had universal rejection. Some batches we upload are reviewed as normal (near or total acceptance). So I do suspect something is going on.
My husband is a stock photographer/videographer/designer. I'm the support staff.

Jeffrey

I have uploaded over 100 illustrations so far, and no rejections yet. Although my photos almost get rejected all the time probably 95% rejection, they're very strict more than other bigger agencies.

Pauws99

They used to be quite forgiving on photos I have found them very inconsistent lately. I don'tr earn enough there to worry about complaining/resubmitting

Chichikov

Usually their acceptance rate was very high.
These last months they begun to find a lot of problems with keywords and releases...
Too much for a site selling almost nothing.

I have noticed an unusual amount of rejections also. Maybe that is how they go through the files so fast? Work that get accepted at all the other sites seem to get blindly rejected at canstock. I submit mostly images and occasional illustrations. and here, I used to think SS was a little extreme...CS currently has them beat!

etudiante_rapide

hmm, good news !!!
maybe ss finally sacked the renegade reviewer, and she/he found a job with cs.

think many will be starting to upload again to ss, if this is the case.

substancep

Almost every single image that I have uploaded and even sold on other stock websites have been rejected consistently for very vague and unfair reasons. "Out of focus," not unique enough, invalid keywords, not professional in composition, you name it. Who even hires these reviewers?

Pauws99

Turns out most of my last batch were not up to professional standards...oh well....spect  I will learn to cope

Maybe so! After a month of smooth sailing, all of my illustrations of a woman on a cell phone crossing the street were rejected for having irrelevant keywords such as these:

careless, cartoon, cell phone, clueless, communication, crossing street, dangerous, dialing, distracted, female,

:o

You should resubmit them, I think there's some reviewer who doesn't understand english and just rejects everything to earn his/her money.

Why do you loose your precious time to resubmit on a site selling almost nothing?

I had some videos there and the last upload, denied all material that has been all accepted in must reputable agencies because of... technical problems... ???,  As I was not in a good mood that day, less than a week, blacked out all the material and pulled me out of there. Do not lose time with this kind of attitude, and if more people do the same, the behavior would be more dignified for all.

With the rejection rates at CS I am starting to feel like SS never rejects a thing.  :-)
If sales were great at CS I could understand them being so picky... wasn't crestock kinda like that?

SS hardly rejects nowadays. Just about any other agency rejects more

This kind of sites feel so important not because they sell, but because they reject...

longtimeshooter

firewall, i still get the occasional white balance off rejects over at ss
chichikov... you mean the power to reject makes them feel powerful? haha! awesome!

Resubmitting should get it accepted

longtimeshooter

haha! Firewall, I usually do but after tweaking the white balance, actually hitting it with the PS auto color which to me always looks wrong..... but those usually get in the second time around
