Gahh! Scratch that, had to change to my user name not "personal", I swear I'd tried that already these last few days. Weird system glitching my brain.
Works now, thanks again!

I have been not accepted at Canva for the third time. As portfolio I have linked one of the portfolio with other agencies.
Is this the correct way? Tips and suggestions?
Thank you very much in advance.

If this is not the right place I please ask to delete my message, sorry I am new of this forum

Without seeing your portfolio, it's hard to tell why you might be having difficulties. Care to share the link you shared with them?

Sorry Maurizio, but I don't think your portfolio will get accepted at Canva.  Canva is a design web site, and needs primarily backgrounds, textures and isolated objects.

Well Canva they said they need all stock shots. Its not limited to backgrounds, textures and isolated objects. Their isolated objects queue is 10 miles long because they cut out all objects to PNG. They are mostly approving non isolated images.

His portfolio is too Editorial and the rest is LCV.

Sorry if I wasn't clear - it was very informal usage. What I meant was "As you don't have any portfolio links in your forum profile, would you mind posting a link to your portfolio".

Some of the images in your portfolio that I thought were potentially more appealing to Canva (some of the balloon shots, for example) are editorial use only, and Canva doesn't do editorial licensing.

I do sell landscape images at Canva (not just backgrounds and PNGs of isolated objects), but they're simple, uncluttered and typically colorful. If you can carefully select some non-editorial work that and make a gallery somewhere to show them, you might have better luck. So I'd suggest less of this sort of thing which isn't visually all that enticing:

Actually this is not accurate.  As Semmick pointed out, we need all types of images (except editorial, for now).  Backgrounds don't sell any better on Canva than they do elsewhere.

Hi Maurizio, we look at an entire portfolio when we assess an application so sending through a limited sample won't help.  We're seeking contributors with consistently high quality and commercial sensibility (they produce images that sell).  We have a slight preference for less-stocky images, but we still take them if they're good.  The most helpful thing I can tell you is that you need to work hard on the quality of your images, not the quantity.  If there's one thing that's become crystal clear for me in looking at what sells in Canva it's that quality is crucial.  We have contributors with massive portfolios (high five-figures) who earn only $100 a month.  One of our top 10 earners who got close to $1000 last month has less than 100 images in her portfolio.  So if you're in microstock to make money, forget about taking shots you like to take, and invest as much energy as you can in taking great shots.

I hope that helps and doesn't offend.  :)

How easy is the upload to this site?  I really can't be bothered to go through yet another complicated upload system for a site that may or may not take off.
Thanks.

Hi all
would also appreciate some feedback: i applied and got a rejection impressively fast...

I sent this link, a site where all my photos are online:
https://www.colourbox.com/supplier/anne-ms-358

I have a lot of people images, maybe that is not what Canva wants? Also thinking, maybe it would had been better to send link to shutterstock, where i have a lot less images, but maybe a 'better' selection:

Feedback greatly appreciated!

Fantastic portfolio, I would try out for Stocksy for sure. You seem to have a style compared to what they offer.

Just a few comments, a few photos seem a bit odd, with crooked horizons (intentional or not) and the kid with a thermometer against a blue background. Its not a pose you normally see with sick kids ;)

Overall great portfolio and doesnt deserve a rejection from Canva.  I would send an email to Lee @ Canva and ask for a second opinion.

Good luck.

My thought exactly! You have really great gallery, beautiful and strong work done.
And I'm not sure you should bother with any micro site with your work. It's just to good.

I don't think there's any material difference between your SS gallery and the Colorbox one. I honestly can't say why Canva would not want this type of work - I'd be curious to know though. Did Lee send the rejection, and if not, perhaps you might want to write and ask why they felt your work wasn't applicable to them.

I don't really understand Stocksy's criteria, but I'd definitely apply there next time they're looking. The only issue is that what they accept has to be exclusive to them, so you'd have to separate your Stocksy work from other microstock stuff.

Your work is lovely BTW :)

Your work is quite good.  What we'd like to see from our own perspective is more photos of people interacting with each other or things, in place of so many portraits looking at camera.  Also more people in an environment that relates to the theme of the image, and fewer people on a plain / flat background.  Those are the primary reasons we didn't take you on at Canva.  They're also why the response was quick - they're the sort of things one can tell from looking at the first screen of your portfolio when sorted by popularity.

I hope that helps.  Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.  :)
