Hello everyone,

after the Magic Creator Payments are at 0 for the second month in a row, I wonder where they have gone?

They were already ridiculously low anyway, but for 2 months now there has been nothing there - not even $0.00 but just an empty field?!

Magic Creator Payment
Sept 2023 - $2.01
Oct 2023 - $2.00
Nov 2023 - $0.24
Dec 2023 - empty field
Jan 2024 - empty field
(the monthly income is at about the same level in all 5 months with increasing applies and exports)

Is it the same for you?

I wonder if we are being treated correctly here?
Or will the income perhaps still be delivered later? (please don't take this question seriously ^^)

Yes, I know that I'm talking about Canva and the phrase "being treated correctly" is a mockery anyway, but maybe it's just me and you have regular income.

Have a sunny day,
Michael

For me is some 10-15$ magic... stuff each month, nothing changed.

Still around $2 per month, December and January as well.

Thank you for your values for the Magic Creator Payment - that actually makes it even more interesting.

It does make you wonder why some of them obviously don't even display any values and others do it more or less normally - that doesn't exactly increase the already low level of trust (for example due to these 99.5% rejections within seconds).

To put it bluntly - I assume that there is something wrong with the billing, at least with some providers.

I've been waiting for a support response to these rejections for more than 2 months now and I'm sure there won't be any more.

But maybe the tide will turn at some point and Canva will tell us verifiably how the calculation for this is... (at this point I had to laugh myself) you can still dream :)

Have a sunny day@all,
Michael

.  I just checked mine and it is like 1/3 less in downloads of what it was yesterday..no words if this is how they manage payment to their contributors.

So as not to divert the topic, just one question... has anyone already received their payment?

They have made a statement that they aim to do the payments by the end of next week.

Feb 2024 numbers are in...

Applies +10%, Exports +3% -> Earnings -4%
Magic Creator Payment 2nd month in a row at "nothing", not even a number there...

Does anyone else have the impression that we're being screwed over here?

nope - my MC payments have been steady even with  canva doing instantaneous 100% rejects of new uploads -- earnings dropped about 20% a year ago, but have remained at that point since then

funny how so many assume there must be a conspiracy when their individual earnings go down.

I don't find it funny that earnings are going down even though utilisation is going up.
That's something to think about, because with more usage, revenues should actually go up and not down.

There are of course a few scenarios where this can also happen the other way round, but they are not very likely.

It's also not "funny" that some Magic Creator earnings no longer have any display at all and are simply set to "nothing" - that doesn't seem right to me either.

So no conspiracy, no assumptions and certainly nothing that would be funny here ;-)

Same. Keep uploading new images but get less...

applies up 13%, exports up 12%, earnings down about 1%

So basically, our art gets used more and more - presumably benefiting Canva in some manner like more income or more market share or something, and we get paid less.

I still don't really know what applies or exports are. If I was getting even the lowly .10 from SS for these uses I would be making a whole lot more.
