I have a negative amount under "unpaid earnings". Anyone else? Any insight why that might be* (emailed them, but no reply yet)

*No, I haven't deleted images so they could be taking back the doubled earnings from last month

Same. No idea what that is about. I hope they aren't expecting to claw back what they paid us as part of the double earnings promise. Are they planning to stop paying us after 6 months and lock our content in to recoup I wonder? (only half joking after what SS pulled)

I think it was equal actual earnings minus additional payment to make up the double march promise when it first appeared, with new earnings being added to it, leading to it now being positive (if that makes sense).
I assume the next additional payment will then be subtracted again when it comes in.

I do hope it is just a bug and they aren't keeping score in hopes of recouping it from us in future!

Yes, it's updated. Must be the additional payment, the sum seems about right

I'm having negative earnings too, and I think it's because ALL subscription earnings of April, March, Feb etc etc etc have been put back to ZERO.
????????
Did any one receive an explanation from them?

Same here.. I dont understand why..
The amount for subscription for May earnings was computed and displayed. But earnings for subscription in other last months April, March, February, January were put back to zero. And totall earnings is again in negative numbers..

Yes, same here.

My subcription earnings from April 2020 to May 2019 have vanished, so I am in minus right now.
Since it is covers 12 month, I have a little bit of hope that this is due to a bug.

I already send an email, twitter message and facebook message, but no reply so far.

Now that subscription earnings for May have been added I'm pretty sure it's a bug. The amount that's shown as unpaid matches exactly my unpaid earnings from May and June minus the amount they had to add to my April earnings to double what I earned in March. I guess they just haven't updated their calculation formula to take into account those additional Dollars that were paid out, but not earned through sales.

Did anyone get a reply yet?

I got a short reply to my Facebook message, but they just said that they could not find a BUYER account under my name (which is correct), so I had to clarify that I meant that earnings are missing from my SELLER account.

I just got paid the exact same amount as March and April.  The negative earnings are still there, but the correct amount was paid, so no worry ...

The correct amount (i.e the same as last month) was paid today.

I got the doubled march earnings, again ... and these doubled march earnings reduced my regular not yet paid income, so I have a negative income, again ... oh boy

When I contact the support I can lean back and wait like 1 or 2 weeks until I get a useless message back ... or none ... When the first payment in may with this double earning thingy was done, I contacted them with the paypal transaction number, because the value of this payout wasnt familiar (I forgot about the double earnings, honestly). Some days later I contacted them again, because I got negative income

So the first mail was answered after 1 week that they cant find my user account and for the second mail I'm still waiting like 3 weeks or so ... maybe I write them again

My update:

I contacted Canva via twitter message, Facebook message and email.

They replied to my Twitter message:
"Hi Robert! We replied to your Facebook message. Please check it out"

Their facebook message reads:
"Hi Rob, thanks for waiting! For your concern, you can fill out the form here > https://support.canva.com/contributors/contributor-help/contributor-support-form/. Let us know once you're done. Thanks!"

So I did, it feels like communicating in a circle.

I also got paid on 15th of June with the exact same amount as in April 2020.

So it looks like there is a severe problem in their payment and accounting system.

Just got a reply from Ana concerning those negative numbers:

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are happy to see how the Canva Pro subscription have positively affected your total earnings. Unfortunately, since an additional amount was released to you on top of your actual earnings to be able to complete the guaranteed payment, this becomes reflected on your account as an "advance" to your actual earnings, hence the negative balance.

Don't worry, you do not owe anything and this will not affect your unpaid earnings nor your next payment. This is more of a "recording" error. This has already been reported to our backend billing team and they are working on resolving this as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience while we resolve this.

It's still not resolved and as of today (14th of July) there are still the Canva Pro subscription commissions missing in the dashboard.

The problem with negative unpaid earnings seems to be solved. They adjusted the amount of subscription earnings of previous months so the total meets the actual payout amount (doubled March earnings). The negative aspect of that is that we're not able to see what we actually earned through subscription sales anymore. Guess October earnings will be a bit of a surprise then ...
Btw I wish I could see what pictures have actually been sold. I still have a couple or non-subscribtion sales every day, but using that as a basis to project what was downloaded by people using the subscription model wouldn't be more than a wild guess.

woops they did it again  ... payment came with more than I was expecting .... the payment page did not reflect the payment I got, waited a few days then sent a support ticket in, still waiting for a reply to the support ticket, but now the royalty figure is negative.

Seriously this is NOT good enough.

Did it happen to anyone else?
