"the world's best selling stock photographer, Yuri Arcurs"

That's a very bold statement Crestock have made on his behalf, and in true Crestock tradition they even contradict themselves:

"Andres Rodriguez is officially the best-selling microstock photographer in the world" http://www.crestock.com/blog/photography/top-10-pro-stock-photography-tips-27.aspx

Both true statements, the blog post regarding Andres was written back in Feb. 07, which in this industry equates to a long time. Since then, Yuri has expanded hugely across all sectors and i believe, statistically, sells the most licenses of any photographer. Keep watching, the video crew is putting together a lot of tips and tricks thats really aimed at helping all microstock photographers, beginner to advanced.

They probably got it from the world's number one authority on selling licenses, Yuri Arcurs.

Perhaps best selling microstock photographer, (next to Sean of course), but not overall stock photographer.

Assuming there are traditional stock photographers earning more than Yuri (I'm very confident that is the case), you couldn't call him the "best selling stock photographer". But if you qualify 'best selling' in terms of the quantity of license sales, who sells more than Yuri?

Seeing as its $$ that pays the bills not DLs then I would think the $$ rating should trump DLs.

Agreed. Now how do we get the New York Times to rank their Best Seller list based on author revenue and Billboard to create album charts based on band royalties.

While money/revenue pays the bills, the world counts sales, and I'd guess that Yuri and Crestock are doing the same when making these claims.

He should be the world's best selling Crestock photographer ;D
I read somewhere that he earns about (take a sit)... huge amount of $400 a month with Crestock.

Nice news, I am subscribed for updates on lessons by Yuri.

i don't understand sceptic grinding like: "There is a contradiction", "next to Sean", etc... If I were able to create such nice pictures with HIGH commercial value, I would be happy to be even the last among other photographers. And you?
