Has anyone requested payment from DepositPhotos recently and had to provide them with a selfie holding your ID to get paid?

Previously they just sent you a verification email.
Now you have to reply with a code they send you and upload the selfie and your ID.

I won't do that -  I'm already deleting my images.

I dont know about that, but few days ago I noticed that subscription price at DP went down from 0.25 to 0.15, and for me that was the last drop, so I am done with them as well.
That agency is really ridiculous.

Don't blame them, that's the government getting their fingers in things, to make sure we are paying taxes, and the agencies are forced to verify that we are real people.

I've had my eBay account for many years, and I just had to verify my identity and tax #, or they were going to hold my money. Blame the Taxman, not DT.

On the positive, that should knock off some of the people with fake IDs, in some of those questionable countries, where it seems entire stolen collections are a common item. If they can't get paid, that sure will discourage those people.

Oops, I misread DP as DT. Comment removed.

I dropped DP like a red hot frying pan, when there were paying us, minimum for a large Sub. license, then selling them for more, some much more, on a different site that they ran. Keep in mind that DP pretends to be a Florida USA company, by having their lawyer there.

Now about presenting an ID. eBay, here's my account:  Member since: Sep 27, 1996 yeah, and they still want verification and SS# so they can report any sales to the IRS if I make $600 in a year.

Good to hear that. More people should.

It's part of the id2020.org, world economic forum push to tag people like cattle. Yes, it's partly so you can have money stolen via taxes (it is theft, funny how some people believe it is noble - but that is what 20+ years of schooling/indoctrination gets you).

But it's also so massive censorship can be imposed - and if you don't conform - it will be super easy to turn off your income like a light switch. "Covid" (aka convid) was a test run to see how obedient/compliant people would be with the masking/shoving a stick in the nose/etc.

The "digital ID", "facial biometrics", etc - is to fully tag you like cattle/a cow - and if you 'moo' too loud, your access to feed is cut off.

Yes, they did asked from me too. Its for verification. I gave them and my payout was done normally later.

I requested payout 2 days ago, on the 31st, and it worked like always, no selfie with ID required and I am also still getting $0.27 or $0.32 per subscription sale. There was one single one for $0.16 in november, but I did already get them ocassionally in the past, even before this year, so this is nothing new to me and they are very rare.

So for me nothing has really changed so far.

I'm still getting 0.27 per download.

There haven't been rate changes since 2021...So I'm guessing your tax form expired and tax is being withheld.

It also depends on your level.
I am silver, and the norm is 0.29, see below the most recent downloads for me.
