Also, we recommend you upload the selection of images in one batch (the entire series) so that our editors can select the files with highest sale potential.

So this is a rejection they have initiated with the similars.

Now because of the similar rejections they have that aren't even justifiable they limit how much you can submit at one time right?

So how is it that someone is supposed to upload the entire selection of images in one batch?

I at times have over 200 Editorial images to submit but cant upload them all as one batch because they limit my uploads due to me not really doing much uploading in the past three or so years because of their ridiculous rejections.

So what do you do?

Sounds like the prankster who dressed himself as a traffic cop and pulled cars over at a no stop area. When they comply to the "cop's" instructions, he gave them a ticket for stopping at a no stop area.

Typical heads or tails, you loose situation.  :(

Here's how I interpret this:

"Please submit your 10 similars in a batch.  We will reject 8 or 9 of them but better if we pick the ones that go through"

This really encourages me to do the other way around.

I just upload the same images to all agencies because I don't have time to follow these silly rules.
Sales do not reflect their wise decision on this so why should we go the extra mile?

Their inspections have indeed become stricter. I asked them to add a few crucial keywords a couple of months ago, since you can't do it yourself and they just said delete those images and UL them again. I thought to myself, well fu#k you then. I did UL 3 different series with the same or similar concept 10 days ago, (since sales really picked up, I mean like tripled on average), but different models and they rejected many of them, even those that did sell, at least from time to time (no big sellers though)

Stricter? nah, just to speed up things a bit, these guys are bored you know ;)

I wonder if big sellers have to endure the same complications we do, I bet not, but we will find out sooner or later won't we.

I dunno, Emeralds+ are already spreading all kinds of conspiracy theories regarding their falling sales...

They're gonna limit your uploads and then require that you upload all images in one batch?  What are they smokin'???   ???

That might be FT?  No problem adding keywords on DT

Gin with tonic ;) . I shouldn't start drinking that early, but my huge success in MS is forcing me to celebrate every single day ;D

::) hehe

Well you know I'm joking, while I'm trying to get a few more ppl to ignore me. Ppl know I'm a bum anyway, getting a nickel&dime here and there every day from MS. SO I can afford to joke about it. Lisa, Sean etc would just come out arrogant OTOH ;D

Of course man! you gave me a good laugh which is becoming rare for me since I started in this business.
If microstock ever want to blame someone for having a bunch of arrogant b.st.rds as their income provider they can blame themselves ;)
Sean, Lisa, Lagereek, etc are just as annoyed as we are except they are better with words and know when to back off.

I can't work out if it's better to upload a series and purposefully include some dodgy ones, so they can have their obligatory stab at the giant reject button, or to space out the uploads on a series. Currently if I handpick my best 6 they still reject 2 of them.
