I haven't done much with video yet. But i would like to explore it.

I am looking for software for basic video editing.
At this moment i have a video, with an brand name that must be removed for uploading te stock sites
But i have no experience in video editing

At this moment, i don't want to spend much money on it.
Wich (free or cheap) software can i use to remove brand names in video's?

I don't do a huge amount of video work but I have found MPEG Streamclip (http://www.squared5.com/) useful.
