Title: Wow
Post by: Lizard on March 24, 2008, 08:15
I don't know why , but I didn't get any sales reports on my e-mail for some time , so I just logged on FP after long time just to see if I had any sales there.

I just couldn't believe my eyes , I had  several Royalty Free Small Business Extension sales all over 80$ generating me minimal 56$ each , and "small sales" have become regular on daily basis so for me FP will probably beat most sites from big 5 this month.

Just hope the trend will continue cause I always liked that site.

I just wanted to share the info....

I had  several Royalty Free Small Business Extension sales too, and a collection sale. My sales are biger than in Crestock, 123rf, BigStock and Fotolia. Itīs my fourth site.

I prized the images in the basis I get the same amount that in istock (cheaper for buyer, but equal for me).

I like that site.

Yes, finding sales without messages is a neat surprise.  I haven't had such great results, but anyway the money is slowly coming in.  Luckily with a payout in April.

I'm having a similar problem with my Earnings Balance still reading $0.00, even though I'm sure I must have gotten a sale there by now.    ::)

I am about to bail on FP. Their business model makes no sense, especially for myself in that I do a lot of RM. I have found RM images on there for $14, which does not make sense at all. It's an uneducated contributor maybe, but also lack of proper steering and guidance from the site principals. The marketing also seems to be non existent. Gave it a try, no sales in over 7 months there, even with a lot of low price RF included. And I can't compete with those dumping 3000 images in because most of my work is illustration these days.

Not total sour grapes though. One day I uploaded a batch of 30, and marked one of them Photo in error. Emailed their support, and not only did reply (in about 15 minutes) and thank me for emailing, but fixed my classification error, then went ahead and approved my whole pending queue.

So great customer service, I just don't know if they have the business expertise to compete properly in a confused marketplace. Have been having problems with the site since their server throwover too.

I checked in but nothing there.

I think my last sale was in January - so for me FT is certainly not setting the world alight!
