Being cynical here but a ton of people are on the legacy cheap photo plan.

If the give everyone "all apps" for a year they'll stop paying for that.  Then next year, when the free all apps expiry they have to go onto the new, much more expensive package as the legacy one isn't available.

Its a good way of booting people off the cheap plan.

That's exactly what makes me hesitate to redeem my code.  In the long run, it's way more expensive to have 1 free year, followed by the more expensive photography plan.

I'm in the same boat.
But can't we just redeem the code to have all the other apps (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator,...) for free for one year, while still paying for the "old" photography plan?
So no need to switch to the more expensive plan later.
Obvious, no savings on Photoshop and Lightroom, but better than not redeeming the code at all?

Mir

It seems I am the only one who didn't get a code.

I actually have more downloads than those mentioned above from people who got the code, so I'm wondering why I didn't receive one.

LithG

I thought I was out but they pulled me back in. Got a code today. I guess I will keep using photoshop.

HalfFull

Pro Plan code received, thanks Adobe.... it was a good year with a 2.5k increase in downloads for the year.

Okay, so it says if you have "the exact same plan" and you redeem the code, the plans will stack consecutively (or words to that effect), but if you have a different plan, the new plan will run in parallel! In fact, here is the cut and paste wording:

=============
Keep in mind:

If you already have an active Creative Cloud plan and you redeem the exact same plan with the same Adobe ID, your billing will be paused for 12 months if you have a plan that's billed monthly. If you paid for the full year in advance, the 12-month term of your  bonus plan will stack on top of your existing plan.

If you already have a different active Creative Cloud plan and redeem the  Creative Cloud bonus plan with the same Adobe ID, the plans will run in parallel. It may make sense to wait until your paid membership is up for renewal before you redeem your  Creative Cloud bonus plan. It's important that you copy the 24-character alpha-numeric redemption code to a safe location for later redemption (step 2).
==============

So that means you have to be careful when you redeem your code so you do not necessarily "waste" a plan by running it in parallel.

Tricky!!

Some of us with codes for one app also buy other Adobe products so we're not totally freeloading on them. But after my expiry of Premiere Pro in November I might look elsewhere. Resolve sounds good but I just don't like the feel of it. Do you get use to it?

Adobe forced my hand with their cloud so I went elsewhere. In regards to DaVinci, a bit of a learning curve as any program is and at this point it's safe to say Adobe lost a customer. If I don't get the code going forward I can say the same with Photoshop. Sadly stock photography is not sustainable enough to have to pay monthly dues for programs that have options that do the job just fine.

That said, I can totally understand if you are a Photoshop guru as it offers what no other product does, but for basic editing for stock, no thanks, not paying for it, especially when the stock industry is slowly a sinking ship.

And the webpage that went up yesterday (replacing last weeks with limits) was so rushed, if you scroll down it still asks about "How do i redeem my 2024 code" and "when do i use the 2025 code".

Last minute change of policy, frantic pulling of websites, frantic copy and paste of old webpages to reupload.

No code for me too. Over 6k downloads in 2025, but only around 30 uploads (not only because I'm lazy, also because adding more microstock content is low-prio work for me  ;D).

Thanks! It truly is almost a passive income :D. I probably invest a few hours per month into microstock and that includes sales tracking and using this forum here. I was expecting microstock to die soon, but it's still somewhat alive - who knows for how long  :D

I have been very active this year, so uploads is not the problem too. I upload vectors only, no video and no AI if that matters.

MotionDesign

Pro plan code received yesterday.

danielvisuals

Received the code. I mainly use after effects for motion graphics so happy not having to pay for that

If I have an active Photography Plan and received the full Creativ Cloud free plan, what should I do?

Cancel the Photography Plan? But it lasts for a year, even if you pay monthly. Or change your plan?

It's not very clear. Someone has done it. My paid month expires in 10 days and I don't know what to do.

They'll run in parallel as they're different packages.  You'll need to cancel the photography plan.

Of course, cynically, most of us on the cheap photo plan means if we use this code for a year and dont get one next year, theres no option to go back onto the old cheap plan and our monthly costs will double for a product we dont really need after that.

7 950 downloads but probably 130 uploads, nothing yet, first time I miss the bonus because I try to do quality over quantity...

my guess is that they awarded those who were consistent uploader throughtout 2025. number of uploads or size of portfolio probably didnt matter, as much as missions participation and download. Big downloaders with little uploads were excluded yet small portfolios were rewarded with pro plan. Probably there was a ratio of dwload vs uploads vs size of portfolio.=> either consistent firefly feeder or authentic (not AI) new content provider rewarded

abc123

I didn't receive a bonus code this year even though I had more than 8000 downloads and 300 uploads. I've been trying to find the official link that explains the criteria, but all I see is the vague statement that it's "based on criteria." Can someone share the link with the requirements? Thanks.
